The tiny black dots on the river’s surface were now clearly reflected in the cold, slitted pupils of the Wind God Winged Dragon King.

At that mont, Kado let out a furious roar from the wooden raft.

His sinewy right arm reached back, drawing three Refined Iron Javelins from the enormous leather pouch on his back.

"Hah!"

Kado twisted at his waist, and the muscles on his arm coiled like pythons before tensing abruptly. With a flick of his wrist, the three Javelins shot out almost as one, transforming into three streaks of dark light. They tore through the air with a piercing shriek, flying in a triangular formation toward the Wind God Winged Dragon King as it dove from the heavens.

One javelin aid for its giant eye, one for its throat, and one for its heart!

Thrown from cunning angles with imnse force, the three javelins cut off all of the Wind God Winged Dragon King’s escape routes.

The Wind God Winged Dragon King sensed a lethal threat.

It let out an enraged screech, abandoning its dive as its massive wing mbranes vibrated violently.

"WHOOSH!"

A hurricane-force wind materialized out of thin air, slamming into the three Javelins like an invisible wall.

The Javelins trembled violently in midair, veering off their original course. They whistled past the Wind God Winged Dragon King’s body and ultimately fell powerlessly into the Canglan River below, kicking up three small splashes.

Though the attack had failed to connect, the deadly threat successfully stalled the Wind God Winged Dragon King’s pursuit, putting another hundred ters between them.

"Nice one!"

Seeing this, Gordo at the other end of the raft excitedly slapped the river’s surface with his enormous paddle, sending a massive spray of water into the air.

Kado showed no sign of triumph; his expression remained grave.

He once again drew several Javelins from his back, his eyes fixed on the sky with total concentration.

The opportunity was fleeting. In the mont their leader was preoccupied, the five Wind God Winged Dragons behind them roared and closed the distance.

"SWISH! SWISH! SWISH!"

Kado’s arms beca a blur, sending javelin after javelin into the sky with a deadly whistle.

He no longer aid for the Domain Level Peak Wind God Winged Dragon King, instead targeting the other five Wind God Winged Dragons.

In the sky, pained screeches from the Wind God Winged Dragons rang out from ti to ti. They were either grazed by the Javelins on the wing or forced into clumsy evasions, throwing their pursuit formation into disarray.

However, Kado’s supply of Javelins was ultimately limited.

After his last Javelin flew, leaving only a wound deep enough to show bone on the wing of one unlucky Wind God Winged Dragon, the leather pouch on his back was empty.

Twenty Javelins, all of them spent.

At this mont, the raft had only just reached the river’s center.

Surrounded by the churning river, with death circling overhead, their situation was now a desperate one with no escape.

"Sun, we’re going in!"

Seeing the situation, Raylo decided to buy ti for Kado and Gordo to cross the river.

"SCREECH!"

The Golden Dragon Sun let out a high-pitched draconic cry.

It suddenly wheeled around, its massive body carving an arc through the sky. It was no longer fleeing; instead, it turned and charged head-on toward the six terrifying, Domain Level Magical Beasts.

There wasn’t a trace of fear in its golden pupils; instead, they burned with a blazing will to fight.

Its Dragon Blood boiled. Faced with enemies outnumbering it six to one, the pride of a Giant Dragon was thoroughly aroused.

A brutal aerial battle seed inevitable.

Yet, in that tense, hair-trigger mont, the situation changed abruptly!

The river water below began to churn violently without any warning, as if so colossal creature was awakening in the depths.

A vast cloud of white mist billowed up, instantly shrouding a hundred-ter radius of the river’s surface.

"ROAR!"

A muffled, savage roar echoed up from beneath the water.

Imdiately after, from within the thick mist, a hideous, terrifying head covered in dark-green scales suddenly shot dozens of ters into the air!

The head resembled that of a giant crocodile, but it was dozens of tis larger. A pair of murky, yellow eyes glinted with greed and bloodlust.

It opened its cavernous maw—large enough to swallow a Mammoth Giant Elephant—revealing densely packed Sharp Teeth, each like a dagger.

Its target was the very Wind God Winged Dragon that had been wounded by Kado’s Javelin and was flying the lowest!

The Wind God Winged Dragon never expected such a horrifying monster to shoot out from the water. It only had ti to let out a terrified, mournful cry before the giant mouth snapped shut—CRUNCH!—clamping down hard on its wing and half its body.

"RRRIP!"

Accompanied by the horrific sound of tearing flesh, the Domain Level Wind God Winged Dragon was brutally dragged from mid-air into the churning river!

"SPLASH!"

A colossal splash shot into the air.

From beneath the river’s surface ca the sounds of a violent struggle and collisions, and large, murky bubbles constantly rose to the top.

The Wind God Winged Dragon was clearly not willing to die just like that, unleashing its imnse Power in the water and causing the river to roil endlessly.

However, it was all in vain.

The instant it was dragged underwater, more huge, shadowy figures gathered from all directions, converging like sharks that had scented blood.

In less than half a minute, the commotion under the water completely subsided.

Imdiately after, huge clouds of dark red blood welled up from the depths, quickly dyeing half the surface of the Canglan River a shocking crimson.

The Wind God Winged Dragon King and the other Wind God Winged Dragons in the sky were startled. They circled high above, letting out uneasy screeches, and for a mont, they dared not lower their altitude.

This sudden turn of events bought Raylo and his companions a precious mont of respite.

But a new crisis followed right behind.

"The underwater Magical Beasts are coming!"

Gordo roared.

Below the raft, massive dark shapes could be seen closing in, one after another. It was clear that the underwater Magical Beasts were now targeting Kado and Gordo.

Kado’s expression changed. Without hesitation, he grabbed his huge Wolf Fang Club, aid at the nearest dark shape, and with all his might, slamd it down into the water!

"THUMP!"

The Wolf Fang Club hit the water like a Siege Hamr striking a city wall, letting out a deep, muffled boom.

The dark shape under the water seed to be in pain, quickly diving into the depths and disappearing from sight.

Kado dared not relax. He held his Wolf Fang Club at the ready, warily watching the water below.

Every so often, he would slam his club with all his might toward any dark shape that tried to get close. The imnse Power created a terrifying shockwave in the water, temporarily driving off the covetous underwater Magical Beasts.

With the two Giants paddling without any regard for their stamina, the raft continued to speed toward the opposite bank.

One thousand ters...

Eight hundred ters...

Five hundred ters...

The sandy shore of the opposite bank was in sight, and the dawn of victory seed just within reach.

Just then, an unprecedented sense of crisis made the hairs on Kado’s and Gordo’s bodies stand on end.

Directly beneath their raft, a terrifying silhouette hundreds of ters long—far larger than any of the previous dark shapes—appeared like an abyssal shadow.

"This is bad!"

Kado’s pupils shrank. Without a second thought, he once again raised his Wolf Fang Club and, with every ounce of his strength, smashed it down viciously at the enormous shadow!

At that very sa mont, the massive dark shape launched its attack.

Its ascent suddenly accelerated. A hideous, mountain-like head burst from the water and opened its abyssal maw.

Kado’s Wolf Fang Club struck the monster’s hard skull squarely.

"BANG!"

A trendous bang echoed across the river.

Kado felt a terrifying, irresistible Giant Strength travel up the Wolf Fang Club. His arms went numb instantly, the webbing between his thumbs and forefingers split open, and blood flowed freely.

As for the massive dark shape, its head only faltered for an instant.

’Another Domain Level Peak Magical Beast.’

The next second, the underwater Giant Beast’s massive body surged upward!

"BOOM!"

The Solid, giant wooden raft was as fragile as paper in front of it.

With the mournful sound of splintering wood, the entire raft, along with Kado and Gordo on it, was sent flying dozens of ters into the air by an irresistible Giant Strength.

A sense of weightlessness washed over them. Kado and Gordo’s huge bodies were helpless in mid-air, able only to watch as the giant, foul-slling maw below prepared to swallow them whole.

The shadow of death lood over them.

Just at that critical, hair-trigger mont!

"ROAR!"

A clear, resounding draconic cry echoed between heaven and earth.

A streak of golden light, faster than Lightning, dove down from high in the sky.

It was Sun!
