"It’s starting!!!"

"This ti, we’re going to show those alien civilizations what a real Fourth Calamity looks like!!!"

"Haha, you’d better have enough points to respawn, then."

"What do you an? We can just lend each other so. This is a real-world battle, so what’s wrong with borrowing a few points to spend? Didn’t you see it written in the rules? Points can be gifted, but only to cover the resurrection costs for other Players. They can’t be transferred in any other form. So the ga is encouraging us to help each other. Get it?"

"I get it, but you’ve got to at least prove you’re worth it, right? Points don’t just grow on trees. If you’re too much of a scrub, why would we resurrect you? You think we have points to burn?"

"But anyway, more importantly, does anyone have any idea where we are?"

"Who the hell knows! The True Ga gave us these cloned bodies. I’m guessing this is the original site where it creates them?"

At this mont, with five minutes left on the countdown to war.

All Players participating in the campaign had successively entered the ga.

This ti, however, after their consciousnesses entered the ga, the Players didn’t arrive on the Oakland Continent or the Karte Continent.

Instead, they appeared in a vast, starry expanse.

The area was a void. The Players stood in empty space, but it didn’t even feel like they were in the cosmos.

Rather than a true starry sky, it was more of a simulated starscape. In reality, they were inside an unknown pocket of space.

One by one, nearly eighty thousand first- and second-wave Players entered the current scene.

These Players gathered in small groups.

Those who knew each other used the forum group chats in their minds to connect, then t up "in person."

For example, a similar thing happened after the war on the Karte Continent.

Many Players who had been in the sa legion during the last war subconsciously gathered together.

After all, during the legion battles on Inference Day, these Players had spent more than a hundred days and nights together.

They had already built a foundation of mutual trust, so they naturally fell into distinct formations as they gathered.

Of course, since this mission involved both garrisoning and behind-the-lines sabotage...

Therefore, as these Players gathered, their forr Legion Commanders, as well as their battalion and squad leaders, were actively giving advice to the Players under their command.

All in all, the scene was incredibly lively.

But this bustling atmosphere was limited to these five minutes.

Because, as the final mont drew near...

A notification from the True Ga appeared in the minds of all Players.

[One minute remaining in campaign countdown. All Players, please prepare. The mont the campaign begins, all Players will be teleported according to their choices to the relatively safe areas closest to their respective battlefields.]

"Everyone, quiet down!"

"Only a few dozen seconds left! Everybody get ready. Don’t go dying the second you hit the battlefield, or it’ll be a huge waste."

Many of the Tier Four and Tier Five Players began to give reminders within their respective legions.

The first- and second-wave Players of today were no longer the rookies they once were.

Although they had only been responsible for logistics on the Karte Continent, quite a few Players had still fought against the Giant Demons.

And in preparation for the upcoming war, upon entering the preparation space, almost all the Players had imdiately used the rewards from the Inference Day settlent to advance their tiers.

As a result, among the nearly eighty thousand Players present, even the weakest among them had already reached Entry Tier.

Currently, there were over 33,000 Tier One Players.

Over 26,000 Tier Two Players.

Over 14,000 Tier Three Players.

Over 1,000 Tier Four Players.

Over 100 Tier Five Players.

Thirteen Tier Six Players.

Overall, while there were no High Tier Players yet...

...there absolutely would be after this real-world campaign.

This rate of advancent was already insanely fast.

After all, only a little over twenty days had passed in the real world.

In less than a month, they had transford from ordinary people into Transcendents—and powerful ones at that.

This was sothing the Human Race on Blue Star would never have dared to imagine before.

So, while these Players were all smiles and seed to be taking the war lightly, deep down, every one of them was giving it their full attention.

It had to be said, the first- and second-wave Players had really lucked out with their timing.

The Carter campaign had just concluded, and now a real-world one was beginning—with virtually no risk of death.

One could only imagine how important such a fantastic opportunity was to the Players.

Of course, the third-wave Players still had a chance, too.

Although only three hundred thousand of the one and a half million Players could be deployed to the Insectoid World and had no resurrection chanic...

...if they waited for the first- and second-wave Players to enter the Insectoid World, they could tag along with them on sabotage missions. This way, they should be able to survive the campaign and reap considerable rewards.

And so, as the entire space fell completely silent, the Players could even hear the heavy breathing of those standing nearby.

The tension was palpable.

[Blue Star Ascension complete! The campaign begins!]

[Teleportation comncing!!!]

——————

In the Arctic Circle, the seven-colored Star Gate suddenly lost its vibrant hues.

It hung in the sky like a pitch-black void.

And at that very mont!

Suddenly, a dense swarm of Flying Mantises poured out!

And in the very next mont...

Innurable artillery shells, fired seconds in advance, were already blanketing the area surrounding the Star Gate below.

"First echelon rocket batteries, fire! Send up the white phosphorus and thermobaric warheads!"

"Second echelon, naval gun saturation! All IFV automated cannon arrays, open fire!"

"All drone units, converge! Lock them down completely!!!"
