From MC's Perspective:
The following day,
After getting ready, I left for the Special Mage Departnt as usual. To be on the safe side, I'm keeping an eye on my surroundings while walking.
Last night, I found no one spying on . Head Howard's words worked out. The person nad Harvey didn't co after .
Suddenly, I felt a piercing gaze on my face.
Feeling this, I turned around to see the person. Then I saw it was the stalker team from the Bloodline Beast Departnt.
They were monitoring my whereabouts. I shook my head twice before resuming walking. I wonder how much the Perry Family has paid them for this job.
anwhile,
Inside the Bloodline Beast Departnt, Charon Perry got the news. His face turned ugly as if he had eaten sothing unpleasant. Once again, his grand plan ended in failure.
Last night, he contacted Harvey Nagle after receiving so many missed calls from him. At that ti, he thought Harvey must have completed the task. That's why he couldn't wait to receive the rewards.
But when he answered the call, all he heard was scolding from Harvey, and then later, he lost contact with him. From beginning to end, he didn't know what happened.
Harvey Nagle didn't explain much. He vented his anger at Charon Perry.
After the call, Charon Perry had a sleepless night. He wanted to see whether Vincent Carey was alive or not. Now that he heard the news, his mood was worse than before.
"Even the student of a Supre Wizard can't help him solve that nobody," Charon gritted his teeth in anger.
He couldn't figure out who was saving that nobody. He had tried various thods, but so plans had to be stopped because Vincent Carey never left the campus.
It was as if soone had already inford him about the dangers. Vincent Carey rarely chose to go out. He then thought of sothing important.
Since his family had decided to go against Head Howard, he would later find a chance amid the chaos to kill Vincent Carey.
Until then, he had to let him live.
"Enjoy your remaining days," Charon said to himself.
...
Days passed,
The Aristocratic Families were trying to get more support inside the organization. One of their goals was to gain the support of the Magic Palace Masters as much as possible.
Not everyone was willing to go against a Magic Lord. But people were betting on the existence of the True Elents Society.
Head Howard couldn't go against everyone if he wanted to keep the current organization as it was. Otherwise, the internal frictions would lead to separation.
If the True Elents Society was divided, then the organization would attack them. So they were betting on this situation. Head Howard wouldn't be stupid enough to cause this.
In the anti, Head Howard was busy searching for hidden information about the Pinewood Forest. He got so useful information as well.
The following day,
Head Howard left the True Elents Society alone without informing anyone. He was moving towards the Forbidden Pinewood Forest in mid-air.
His presence was concealed so that no nearby wizards, including the Magic Lord, could sense him. His trip to the Forbidden Pinewood Forest was a secret.
If he could figure out the secrets inside that place, not only would he be able to solve the resource problem of Vincent Carey, but he would also acquire other magic resources for the True Elents Society.
He was aware of the situation inside the True Elents Society. The Aristocratic Families were trying hard to gain the Magic Palace Masters on their side.
But he didn't stop them from doing it. Because everything was based on interest. If he could get rare magic resources that could help the Supre Wizards, then the Magic Palace Masters would turn to his side.
After pushing down the distracting thoughts, he resud moving.
About a few hours later,
Howard Mason was able to enter the Forbidden Pinewood Forest. It was still dayti, but he could sense an ominous dark magic.

Feeling this, he couldn't help but recall his old mories. He had co here multiple tis in his early days. But after a certain point, he couldn't go further.
The breath of evil dark mana posed a greater threat. Those who accompanied him at that ti faced similar threats. So of them had died as well.
Sigh!
Thinking about those bad old mories, a sigh escaped from his mouth.
Howard then slowly went deeper inside the Pinewood Forest. He was moving in the air slightly above the ground. In the blink of an eye, he left the outer area and arrived at the inner area.
This was where he had been stopped in his early days.
Howard frowned. It was dayti, but not a single sunlight ray was able to touch the ground. The sun rays were absorbed by sothing.
It appeared normal. The view was crystal clear. But Howard, as a Magic Lord, looked carefully before realizing what was going on.
Sothing dark was eating away the bright sun rays. In his early days, he hadn't been able to find this phenonon. Now he could do things that he couldn't do previously.
After glancing around, he moved further. The presence of evil dark mana beca clear. The huge trees were surrounded by thick dark fog.
As if they were breathing the fog itself. When Howard moved past the giant trees...
Swoosh!
The thick dark fog leaped towards him. Howard snorted, as if he had eyes on his back. He was able to see what was happening 360° around him.
Boom!
A Magic Lord's mana burst out from his body. The thick dark fog that ca into contact with the mana let out a weird scream before scattering into dust.
The sa thing happened with other thick dark fogs. Everything turned to ashes.
In the blink of an eye, he was the only one left in mid-air.
Howard looked at the giant trees that had been covered by thick dark fog earlier. Now their condition was horrible to see.
The giant trees looked similar to the shivering, dry bodies of humans.
