Crystal City
The trio from the Silver Tower reached their destination. They were none other than Jason Nicholson, Wilfred Cox, and Susan Park.
They arrived in their own flying cars. Their vehicles entered the city and began moving toward the Crystal community.
All three had co with their elders, who were Supre Wizards. It didn’t take long for them to reach their goal.
The cars flew over the massive gate before landing in the parking area. Once the three flying cars touched down, Jason Nicholson and his elder were the first to step outside.
Jason looked around the area, finding the community spacious and filled with vast green land.
Then, the others stepped outside as well. Wilfred Cox and his elder walked out; his elder was a bald-headed old man.
They, too, observed their surroundings. From the last car, Susan Park and an old woman stepped out, appreciating the view as well.
"I think we can go to the shop now," Susan said to them.
"Hmm, I’m looking forward to seeing the appraiser," Wilfred said with a smile.
"I don’t know whether they have any collections or not," Jason Nicholson remarked to the others.
The three of them started chatting and laughing as they began walking toward their destination. On the way, they ca across many other guests heading in the sa direction.
The trio observed the crowd; Crystal City attracted many influential people, and the trio looked forward to eting them.
The trio reached the destination along with the others. They saw a huge, beautiful building and could see the place was already filled with guests.
As they walked inside, their presence drew imdiate attention. Except for the elders, the three of them were wearing their Silver Tower University uniforms.
It attracted everyone’s eyes.
Gasp!
An exclamation occurred. The identity of the Silver Tower is a special one, as Crystal City falls under its jurisdiction. The guests who were already there imdiately went to et the trio.
Jason Nicholson, Wilfred Cox, and Susan Park began speaking to them. The elders stood behind them, acting as guards.
They observed the guests closely, looking for anyone with ulterior motives, as the three wizard families had their fair share of enemies.
They remained cautious. On the other hand, the other guests were viewing the gallery inside the room. At this ti, many people were eager to buy magic artifacts.
I was speaking to the guests. As ti went by, my energy began to exhaust. I didn’t know how many more people I could handle. There were already more than a hundred people here.
The staff mbers were taking care of them, so I imdiately took a break for a few minutes and left the gallery room.
When I reached the living area, I saw that the place was crowded. Specifically, a crowd had surrounded three people.
"What’s going on here?" I asked myself.
I walked up to them out of curiosity. My gaze fell on the trio, and my eyes flashed with surprise, though not because of who they were.
The trio were none other than Susan Park, Jason Nicholson, and Wilfred Cox. I wasn’t entirely surprised, as Manager Lara had told she had invited them.
I touched my face mask, ensuring it was intact, and sighed in relief. Then, I walked toward the group.
Jason, Wilfred, and Susan were talking when they noticed soone approaching. The crowd gathered around them parted to make way.
They saw that the person coming toward them was none other than the shop owner, Frank.
"Young master, he is the shop owner, Frank," the old man behind Jason Nicholson whispered.
Hearing that, Jason Nicholson’s expression beca serious. He looked toward the others, and Wilfred Cox and Susan Park nodded their heads. They stepped forward to greet the shop owner.
"Shop owner Frank, I’m Wilfred Cox from the Cox Family. I am also an official mber of the Silver Tower," Wilfred said with a smile. Susan Park and Jason Nicholson introduced themselves as well.
Behind the mask, I sneered inwardly, but I responded with a polite smile.
"I’m Frank. It’s nice to et Wizards from the Silver Tower," I said to them.
"Ha... ha... ha... Owner Frank. You are a relative of Manager Lara, so you are close to the Silver Tower as well," Susan Park added from the side.
"Owner Frank, if you need help with anything, you can tell us," Wilfred offered with a smile.
I nodded to them and said, "Thanks for the kind words. If I need anything, I’ll definitely contact you guys."
The trio seed happy with that response, feeling they had made a good connection. The elders behind them sighed in relief as well. Just as I thought about leading them to the gallery room..,
Gasp!
A huge commotion occurred. Everyone turned toward the noise and saw that another important person had arrived. He, too, was wearing the uniform of the Silver Tower.
My eyes flashed with a glint because I recognized him instantly. He was none other than Holden Barrett. He had arrived with Butler Gideon. I cald my racing heart.
Jason, Susan, and Wilfred were startled. They recognized him imdiately; this person was their senior in rank.
They hadn’t expected him to receive an invitation, as the Barrett Family is a neutral faction within the Silver Tower. Since he was there, they decided they must greet him.
"Senior brother, it’s surprising to see you here," Wilfred spoke first.
Holden smiled and swept his gaze across the trio. He clearly enjoyed their startled expressions, it was exactly the reaction he wanted.
He then said, "I am from the Silver Tower as well, so it’s only normal for to be here."
Hearing that, the trio didn’t know how to respond.
Butler Gideon looked at the masked man. His eyes flickered. He couldn’t see through the man’s strength.
"Is it an artifact?" Gideon wondered.
Then he realized the masked man was the appraiser. He wouldn’t be surprised if the man possessed powerful magic artifacts.
This was enough to confirm the man’s identity. They could now proceed to do business with him.
At the sa ti, the surrounding guests were taken aback. They were stunned to see so many high-ranking figures from the Silver Tower in one place.
