The moon set, and the sun rose.
In the blink of an eye, it was the next day.
After a night of intense marching, everyone except Seii—the guy with a freakishly tough constitution—was feeling the strain. The average chūnin, in particular, were gasping for air, barely keeping up.
With no other choice, Seii huddled with the other jōnin leaders and decided to halt the group for an hour.
At the order, the ninjas stopped in their tracks, quickly downing soldier pills to restore their stamina while they had the chance.
An hour later, they hit the road again.
Every five or six hours, they'd pause for a brief rest, replenish their energy, and then keep moving.
After a grueling day and two nights, they finally reached the northern border camp by the morning of the third day.
The camp was already on high alert, locked down tight under Minato Namikaze's orders.
Looking at the familiar camp, Seii didn't say much.
He completed the handover with the camp's commanding jōnin, clarified his mission, and then left—leaving behind a wood clone to take his place.

Using the Flying Thunder God Technique, Seii returned to Moon Island and let out a long breath.
Finally, he could get back to training.
Wasting no ti, he perford the Multiple Shadow Clone Technique twice in a row, creating a total of 330 shadow clones.
He assigned each one a task and sent them off.
Then, using the Flying Thunder God again, he teleported to the volcano beneath Moon Island.
It's worth noting that, thanks to his relentless training in The Extre Body, his body was growing more resistant to this harsh environnt.
Seii figured that after two or three more physical breakthroughs, he'd fully adapt to the second cavern's conditions.

His vision pierced through the toxic mist in the air, the flowing lava below, and even the solid rock layers beneath.
Finally, at a depth of about 100 ters, he spotted another cavern.
You could call it the third cavern.
Even from here, it was clear the environnt down there was far harsher, with more volatile lava flows.
It was the perfect spot for his next training phase.
That's why Seii wasn't sweating the adaptation issue.
Clearing his mind, he refocused, withdrawing his gaze. Without wasting another second, he channeled his chakra and natural energy, fusing them into enough senjutsu chakra to resu his Extre Body training.

Just as Seii had predicted, the sudden incident from a week ago didn't spiral into anything major.
At first, the Hidden Cloud Village ca on strong, demanding that the Leaf Village give them answers.
They even sent extra troops to the border, putting pressure on Konoha.
But too bad for them—Minato Namikaze might look soft on the outside, but deep down, he was as stubborn as they co. Once he made up his mind, he didn't budge.
He flat-out rejected the Cloud's unreasonable demands.
Rumor had it, through so backchannels, that even the Leaf's old guard—like Hiruzen Sarutobi—suggested Minato make so concessions to secure a peace treaty with the Cloud.
They weren't pushing for sothing as drastic as sacrificing the Hyūga clan, like in so alternate tiline. Instead, they wanted Minato to compromise on the terms of the ceasefire.
But Minato shot that down too, insisting on sticking to the facts and investigating the incident properly.
His approach ended up putting the Cloud in a tough spot.
After all, they were the ones in the wrong to begin with.
Without the guts to start a war or twist the truth, the Cloud had no choice but to play defense.
As ti passed, their hardline stance began to soften.
According to the latest intel, the Cloud was planning to send a new team to take over negotiations and handle the fallout from the incident.
Clearly, the Fourth Raikage had lost faith in the original group, or he wouldn't have made such a midstream switch.
None of this mattered much to Seii, though. His focus was on maxing out Dust Release: Detachnt of the Primitive World Technique and moving on to the next step.
And that goal wasn't too far off.
In just a week, he'd nearly mastered the technique.
Seii estimated it would take one or two more days to push it to perfection.
With that in mind, he dove back into training without hesitation.

That morning, after completing another round of Extre Body training, Seii teleported back to Moon Island. He dispelled the Multiple Shadow Clone Technique, reabsorbing all his shadow clones and processing their hour's worth of training experience.
Suddenly, a spark of insight hit him.
A grin spread across his face. He closed his eyes, focusing intently to process the knowledge flooding his mind.
A full fifteen minutes later, he opened his eyes again.
His understanding of Dust Release: Detachnt of the Primitive World Technique had leaped to a new level.
Even without checking a status panel, Seii knew for sure: the technique had leveled up.
That mont of clarity was the result of it reaching Level 10 (0/0).
Seii stood, flickering a few tis to reach the coast.
Then, with another flash, he appeared over the ocean.
After scanning the area to ensure there were no obstacles, he raised his hands, ford the seals, and unleashed the upgraded Dust Release: Detachnt of the Primitive World Technique.
A transparent cubic barrier ford between his palms.
"Go!"
With a soft shout, Seii released the cube.
It shot forward, rapidly expanding.
In monts, it beca a massive cubic barrier, flashing across the sea.
Everything in its path was broken down into atoms.
At this stage, the difference between Dust Release: Detachnt of the Primitive World Technique and Dust Release: Boundary Stripping Technique was barely noticeable.
The only real distinction was that, for the sa amount of chakra, the Boundary Stripping Technique—designed for wide-range attacks—covered a larger area and lasted longer.
While Seii could manipulate the Detachnt Technique to hit multiple targets, its overall damage range was still limited, though it was more precise.
Still, both techniques had reached their peak.
With that done, Seii could now shift his focus to his next goal: developing his Bloodline Net, just as planned.
