Of course, Seii couldn't possibly pour all the fifteen million chakra points he'd saved up into this one endeavor.
For one thing, most of that chakra was drawn from what he'd been accumulating bit by bit in his daily training. Previously, after his Sharingan's evolution reached the critical threshold of (50,000/100,000), he shifted the six hours he used to spend on the "Mirror Heart Technique" entirely to training the "Extre Body" technique. This boosted his physical enhancent efficiency by thirty percent, but it also spiked his chakra consumption by eight million points.
Of those eight million, three million were offset by the chakra saved from pausing the "Mirror Heart Technique." That still left a shortfall of five million points, which he had to pull from his reserve chakra.
On top of that, he'd also increased the chakra allocated to his two Dust Release ninjutsu techniques, bumping it from twelve million to fifteen million points. The extra three million ca from his daily chakra reserves as well.
Add to that the daily deficit of 3.68 million chakra points he'd already calculated, and in total, he was drawing 11.68 million points from his reserves every day.
15,000,000 - 11,680,000 = 3,320,000!
In other words, if he didn't want to keep dipping into his accumulated chakra, he only had 3.32 million points to work with.
In that case, throwing all fifteen million points into one project would be a total waste.
Secondly, there was no need to go all in. After all, he was just starting to research the fusion of all seven chakra natures. It wasn't realistic to burn through that much chakra right away.
So, after so thought, Seii decided to start with a modest investnt of three million chakra points to test the waters. He'd increase the amount later if he made clear progress. This way, he wouldn't need to pull extra chakra from his reserves, and he'd even be able to save 320,000 points daily.
Sure, it wasn't a ton, but it was still sothing, right?
As for the possibility of a sudden breakthrough in developing the Bloodline Network that would require more chakra, draining his newly saved reserves… that was pretty much impossible.
Sure, he'd laid a lot of groundwork, with solid experience in fusing two or even three chakra natures. But jumping straight to combining all seven? That was a whole different beast. It was like asking a fresh genin, straight out of the Ninja Academy and barely aware of chakra attributes, to develop a Bloodline Elimination technique. The odds of success were slim to none.
So, he wasn't worried about a sudden spike in chakra needs.
Honestly, if Seii didn't have his proficiency panel, which guaranteed that every effort would yield results and those results would stick, he wouldn't even dare attempt this.
"Phew…"
Letting out a soft breath, Seii stopped wasting ti. He gathered his thoughts and returned to Moon Island.
Then, he kicked off a new round of training.
Like before, he started by casting the "Multiple Shadow Clone Technique." This ti, though, he went big, summoning eight hundred shadow clones.
Three hundred of them, as usual, were tasked with absorbing natural energy to create sage chakra for his "Extre Body" training. The remaining five hundred? They were assigned to experint with fusing all seven chakra natures to develop the Bloodline Network.
Watching his clones disperse, Seii nodded, then used the "Flying Thunder God Technique" to teleport to the volcano beneath Moon Island.
Familiar surroundings greeted him. Without wasting a second, he began channeling his chakra and natural energy. Once he'd gathered enough sage chakra, he dove into training "Extre Body."
…
An hour passed in a flash.
Seii paused his "Extre Body" training and returned to the island's surface. While waiting for his body to recover naturally, he glanced at the clones working on the Bloodline Network in the distance.
From their expressions and reactions alone, he could tell the results weren't impressive.
Still, he'd need to sync their mories to know for sure.
Luckily, his body had recovered by then. Not wasting any ti, Seii dispelled the "Multiple Shadow Clone Technique."
In an instant, every clone—on the island and beyond—vanished.
A flood of mories poured into Seii's mind. As always, he didn't rush to sift through them. First, he sorted the chakra and natural energy that ca back with the mories, storing them properly. Only then did he start reviewing the mories.
Thanks to his 33-point ntal stat, his mind was sharp enough to handle the influx. Even with so many clones, sorting their mories didn't take long.
About fifteen minutes later, Seii opened his eyes again.
Reflecting on what he'd learned, he shook his head slightly. He'd known that fusing all seven chakra natures to create the Bloodline Network wouldn't be easy, but he hadn't expected that five hundred clones working for an hour would yield so little progress.
Still, Seii's mindset was rock-solid. Even with minimal gains, he didn't let it get him down.
He collected himself, popped a few enhanced soldier pills to replenish his energy, and launched into another round of training.
Round after round, he kept at it well into the night, going through over a dozen cycles.
Finally, he made a small breakthrough.
He'd been going about it wrong, thinking that more shadow clones would lead to a quicker win by sheer numbers. But while that approach let him explore the Bloodline Network from more angles, each clone had limited chakra and couldn't dig deep.
For sothing as complex and uncharted as this, exploring from multiple angles wasn't as effective as focusing on one path and sticking with it. Even if it didn't lead to success, the experience gained from deep exploration would outshine shallow attempts from every angle.
That said, exploring multiple angles wasn't unimportant—it was critical. The key was finding a balance between the two approaches.
Only then could he maximize his gains.
With this realization, Seii let out a long breath.
Starting tomorrow, he'd focus on finding that balance.
For now, though? It was ti to rest.
Glancing at the bright stars in the night sky, Seii yawned, then flashed to a small wooden cabin in the corner of the island.
Near the cabin, he washed his face in a nearby stream, feeling a bit refreshed, before heading inside to rest.
