The sun sets, and the moon rises.
In the blink of an eye, night falls.
The Land of Fire.
The northeastern region.
Still within that primal forest.
Seii completes another round of practicing the "Heart Reflection Technique." As the hour mark hits, he dispels the "Multiple Shadow Clone Technique" as usual.
In an instant, the shadow clones scattered throughout the forest dissolve and vanish.
At the sa ti, a flood of mories surges into his mind.
Seii resists the urge to sift through them right away. Instead, he first stores the returning chakra and natural energy into the interdinsional spaces at his forehead and abdon, respectively.
Only then does he begin to review the mories, absorbing and processing the cultivation experiences they contain.
At first, everything seems normal.
But after reviewing the mories of the ten shadow clones practicing "Sage Mode," a unique insight suddenly sparks in his heart.
All at once, Seii opens his eyes.
A glint of excitent flashes in his gaze.
Almost instinctively, he pulls up his proficiency panel.
And there, in the skills section, a new entry has appeared at so point—Sage Mode: Lv0 (0/100)!
That's right—he's successfully etched "Sage Mode" onto his panel.
Without hesitation, while the insight still lingers in his mind, Seii takes a deep breath, closes his eyes, and focuses. He channels the chakra in his body and the natural energy stored in the sealed space in his abdon, blending them into sage chakra to attempt entering "Sage Mode."
Ti ticks by, second by second.
This ti, Seii feels almost divinely guided.
Though it takes a full ten-plus minutes to fully convert his chakra into sage chakra, the process goes off without a hitch.
And in that mont, Seii successfully enters "Sage Mode."
His outward appearance shifts, taking on a minimalist style reminiscent of Hashirama Senju.
Aside from the silver-white, shadow-like markings around his eyes, the only other change is three short horizontal lines appearing on either side of the Byakugan mark on his forehead.
From a distance, it looks almost like the character for "king" written across his brow.
Catching a glimpse of this in the reflection of his Leaf Village headband, Seii grimaces, finding it downright unsightly.
But that's all trivial.
What matters is that he's successfully activated "Sage Mode."
Setting the headband aside, Seii carefully senses the changes in his body.
As expected, under the boost of "Sage Mode," his strength, speed, endurance, reflexes, and other core attributes skyrocket.
On his panel, this manifests as his "Constitution" and "Spirit" attributes temporarily jumping to 50 points each.
That's right—50 points.
For context, his base "Constitution" is only 32 points, and his "Spirit" is 34.
Given that the higher the attribute, the bigger the gap between each point, boosting both to 50 represents a roughly five- to six-fold increase in his physical capabilities.
And that's not even accounting for the likely qualitative leaps that occur when attributes hit the 40- and 50-point thresholds.
Seii feels that, with just his taijutsu alone, he could easily take down most Jonin. Even against Kage-level opponents, he could hold his own for a bit.
Beyond the boost to his core attributes, his sensory abilities and defenses also see massive improvents.
Closing his eyes, Seii senses his surroundings.
It feels akin to using the "Spirit Transformation Technique." Both the precision and range of his perception have increased by more than tenfold.
As for his defenses, Seii glances down at the faint white glow radiating from his body.
Though it looks weak, this glow is the result of highly concentrated sage chakra leaking out, functioning much like a Tailed Beast's cloak.
Just as a Tailed Beast cloak provides defense for a Jinchuriki, this white glow does the sa for him.
Seii feels that this layer of protection alone could let him shrug off most ninja's taijutsu attacks, much like how Naruto tanks Pain's "Shinra Tensei" without a scratch.
As for ninjutsu attacks, he can outright ignore anything below C-rank. Even weaker B-rank ninjutsu, he could face head-on.
In short, "Sage Mode" enhances him in every way possible.
And since it's an all-around boost, it naturally includes his offensive capabilities.
Seii stands and moves to a relatively open clearing.
He forms hand signs and unleashes a ninjutsu—Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique!
As the signature technique of the Uchiha clan, the first ninjutsu Seii ever learned, and the one he's used most in battle, it's the perfect choice for testing.
Whoosh~
Seii opens his mouth slightly, and a stream of flas shoots out.
The flas coalesce about three ters ahead, forming a fireball the size of a human head.
Then, the fireball rapidly expands, ballooning to a two-ter diater in an instant.
Scorching heat hits him, and even with the protection of sage chakra, his cheeks sting.
Sensing the fireball's state, Seii directs it forward. With a boom, it slams into a large tree in the distance.
Boom~
A violent explosion erupts.
In an instant, the tree shatters into fragnts. The scattered sparks ignite nearby trees, and within monts, the forest ahead turns into a sea of flas.
This power is three tis stronger than a "Great Fireball Technique" cast with the sa amount of chakra.
And this is just a standard ninjutsu enhanced by sage chakra. If he developed a sage art specifically for "Sage Mode," the power would be unimaginable!
"Sage Mode" is truly the gateway for an ordinary ninja to beco a powerhouse. Mastering it instantly catapults you to the ranks of the ninja world's rare Kage-level elites.
Even for soone of Seii's caliber, "Sage Mode" provides a significant boost.
Lost in thought for a mont, Seii watches the raging fire ahead. He forms hand signs again and opens his mouth to unleash another ninjutsu—Water Release: Wild Water Wave!
A torrent of water surges from his mouth, dousing the flas ahead.
Imdiately, a sizzling sound fills the air.
Thick white mist rises from the scene.
Just like the "Great Fireball Technique," the "Wild Water Wave" enhanced by "Sage Mode" is impressively powerful.
Soon, the flas are extinguished.
Phew~
Letting out a breath, Seii collects his thoughts and finds another spot to continue testing "Sage Mode's" effects.
But at that mont, the sage chakra in his body suddenly loses balance, splitting back into its three component energies.
And with that, he exits "Sage Mode."
