Li Wei collected the Soul Crystals the Soul Eaters left behind.
He obtained twelve Soul Crystals.
One Soul Crystal could be used for about five days.
Li Wei now had a total of nineteen Soul Crystals, enough for the next three months of his Cultivation.
’Mage Ti’er really is a great guy.’
Li Wei put away the Soul Crystals and returned to the fourth layer of the Dream World.
Back in the safe house, he began his nightly practice.
With ti passing eight tis faster on the fourth layer of the Dream World, he had much more ti to practice his Magic.

His Fireball Skill, at Tier Two Great Success Level, could be charged to a maximum power equivalent to four tis the Mana input.
With this further increase in power, he could now kill an injured Soul Eater in a single blow.
This level of power was enough to kill Soul Eaters.
But it wasn’t enough to deal with Mage Ti’er.
Li Wei needed even more powerful ans.
When dealing with a Grand Mage, one could never be too cautious.
Li Wei practiced and advanced his Fireball Skill while simultaneously monitoring the Dream World.
He kept a constant watch for any sign of Tyr.
An entire night passed, but Tyr never reappeared in the Dream World.
He must have been truly scared off.
Li Wei got up, preparing to exit the Dream World.
His progress on the Fireball Skill had been swift overnight.
[Fireball Skill (Tier Two Great Success)] 5478/10000
One day here was more effective than eight days outside.
Continuous practice was undoubtedly more effective than practicing in segnts; it was easier to just push through to the end.
In two more days at most, he could advance his Fireball Skill to the Tier Two Perfection Realm.
’At that point, I’ll have to find a way to break through to Tier Three.’
With the boost from his Fire Elental Body, a Tier Three Fireball Skill would be as powerful as a Tier Four Spell, even without charging.
When charged, it would undoubtedly reach a whole new level of power.
Only then would he have a hope of killing Tyr in a single strike.
During the day, Li Wei was in the library on the third floor of the Mage Tower.
He was holding a Magic Book, preparing to learn the Magic within it.
’My Fireball Skill still lacks versatility. After hitting the five thousand progress mark, it’s beco noticeably more difficult to keep advancing it.’
’The Tier Two Perfection Realm requires grasping the Casting principles of all Tier Two Fire Elent Magic. The remaining progress is beyond the scope of the Fireball Skill and the Bursting Fireball Technique. Since I’ve never encountered these other types of Magic, trying to force the advancent is too difficult.’
’If I had another spell to use as a reference, it would be much easier.’
’Besides the Bursting Fireball Technique, the Mage Tower has two other Tier Two Fire Elent Magic options: the Fire Wall Skill and the Fire Snake Skill.’
Li Wei chose the Fire Snake Skill.
The Fire Wall Skill could be advanced into the Tier Three Fire Elent Magic, the Sea of Fire Skill.
The Fire Snake Skill could be advanced into the Tier Four Fire Elent Magic, the Fire Dragon Skill.
Without a doubt, the Fire Snake Skill had greater potential.
This ant the Fire Snake Skill contained more profound knowledge and principles of Fire Elent Magic.
For Li Wei, who needed to absorb knowledge to advance his Magic, the Fire Snake Skill was far more useful than the Fire Wall Skill.
It would not only provide experience with versatile Tier Two Fire Elent Magic but also aid in the future advancent of higher-tier Fire Elent Magic.
At the very least, if he wanted to learn the Fire Dragon Skill, having the Fire Snake Skill as a foundation would make it much easier.
Grasping the principles of Tier Two Fire Elent Magic at the Realm of Perfection was still limited to just Tier Two Magic.
Li Wei could cast the Fire Snake Skill, but he wouldn’t be able to deduce the advanced information it contained about its progression to the Fire Dragon Skill.
He would have the form, but lack the essence.
That subtle conceptual leap of a snake transforming into a dragon.
That was sothing he couldn’t deduce on his own.
Learning the Fire Snake Skill cost one hundred Contribution.
El walked over and saw Li Wei putting the Magic Book back on the shelf.
He smiled and asked, "Li Wei, are you here to learn a new spell again?"
"I notice you’re looking at a different Magic Book every ti. Are you running into so trouble learning Magic?"
"I rember you’re a Fire Elent Mage. I am too. If you have any questions, feel free to ask . I might be able to help."
Li Wei replied politely, "Thank you, Mage Aier, but I don’t have any questions for now. I’m just browsing."
After Li Wei left, El glanced at the Magic Book he had put back.
His eyes focused on it, and his expression turned to one of astonishnt.
’Is this the Fire Snake Skill?’
El wasn’t entirely sure. He quickly pulled the book out to check and found that it was, indeed, the Fire Snake Skill.
He was utterly shocked.
’Li Wei is starting to learn the Fire Snake Skill?’
’Impossible. He’s only a Tier One Mage. How long has it even been since he beca one? Even if he’s exceptionally talented, there’s no way he could be practicing a Tier Two Spell this quickly.’
’Could he really have been just browsing, like he said?’
El was bewildered.
He didn’t know what to believe.
What he had seen with his own eyes felt unbelievable.
During the day, Li Wei ditated to cultivate his Mana.
At the sa ti, he also practiced the Rock Breathing thod.
This would strengthen his body and improve its resilience.
After an afternoon of practice, his Rock Breathing thod reached the Small Success Level.
The mont he broke through, Li Wei felt a powerful current shoot up from the soles of his feet to the top of his head.
Every cell in his body trembled as sweat poured from his skin.
In an instant, Li Wei’s clothes were soaked through.
HUFF! HUFF!
Li Wei gasped for breath, his lungs working like a bellows, rapidly inhaling and exhaling.
All the waste gases in his body were expelled.
After a while, the changes within his body gradually stabilized.
He felt much lighter all over.
It was a euphoric feeling, as if he were floating on air.
He felt his entire body brimming with power, every muscle crackling with explosive strength.
[Rock Breathing thod (Small Success)] 0/4000
The text before his eyes dissipated.
He quickly took a bath to wash the filth from his body.
He had the Shadow Attendant wash his soaked clothes.
After his bath, Li Wei walked into his study.
He stood by the window and looked out, able to clearly see people passing by outside the gates of the Mage Tower’s courtyard.
Before, he could only make out blurry figures.
His eyesight had improved dramatically.
Li Wei muttered to himself, ’Normally, once the Rock Breathing thod reaches Small Success, one should have cultivated Fighting Spirit and beco an Apprentice Knight.’
’Reaching Great Success offers a chance to beco an Official Knight. Reaching Perfection and awakening Extraordinary Traits makes becoming an Official Knight a certainty.’
He held out his right arm and rolled up his sleeve.
The muscles in his right arm were clearly defined. He slowly clenched his right fist.
His muscles bulged. They weren’t large or exaggerated, but they felt incredibly powerful.
’Even without Fighting Spirit, my physical condition is already comparable to that of an Apprentice Knight.’
