With a little practice, Li Wei found he could now elentalize half of his body.
This was a pleasant surprise.
It was enough to elentalize all the vital spots on his body.
He was now immune to attacks on his vitals.
And as it turned out, the effect of elentalizing vital parts was sotis better than one could imagine.
So particularly insidious abilities specifically targeted vital spots.
For example, the Heart-Picking ability Lair had used on the destitute nobleman.
He didn’t truly pluck out another’s heart.
A normal person obviously couldn’t survive having their heart removed.
He rely left a sliver of Power inside the body of the person he controlled.
This Power could kill the victim’s heart at any mont.
The control item, a manifestation of this Power, looked like a shrunken, glass heart.
If Li Wei were ever subjected to "Heart-Picking," he could just elentalize his heart, rendering the enemy’s technique useless.
However, elentalizing the heart involved many factors.
It was very difficult for Li Wei to elentalize a single organ.
Unlike the brain, the heart also had to pump blood.
Blood flowed in and out of the heart, circulating throughout the body.
In other words, after elentalizing the heart, the blood flowing in and out of it would also have to be elentalized.
Then, the blood flowing out of the heart would have to turn back into normal blood.
This created a dynamic process, far more difficult than simple Elentalization.
The brain also involved so blood circulation.
However, after the head was elentalized, it no longer needed blood to supply oxygen and energy.
His body was another story. Since it wasn’t fully elental, it still required blood circulation for energy.
It was difficult to do, but at least it was an option in a crisis.
When it ca down to it, he would choose to save his own life, even if it ant injuring himself.
After all, Li Wei could still tell the difference between being injured and being dead.
Li Wei turned and walked away from the window.
He caught a glimpse of a figure out of the corner of his eye and stopped, his heart freezing over.
He quickly turned his head to look.
Tyr had actually appeared at the entrance of the Mage Tower.
He was walking into the Mage Tower.
In an instant, Li Wei broke out in a cold sweat.
’What is he doing here?’
With a guilty conscience, Li Wei’s first thought was that he had been exposed.
A mont later, he cald down.
Seeing that Tyr’s expression was normal, Li Wei realized the man wasn’t here for him.
If he knew the killer was in the Mage Tower, he definitely wouldn’t look so relaxed.
Li Wei thought for a mont, then cast the Illusion Technique, creating an Illusory Body that he sent walking outside.
He wanted to get a closer look at Tyr.
Until now, he had only observed the man from a distance.
He had never seen him in person or greeted him face-to-face.
The Illusory Body, of course, did not look like Li Wei.
Li Wei simply had it take the form of an Apprentice Mage from the Mage Tower whom he recognized.
Tyr stood in the main hall of the Mage Tower, with Leviedan at his side.
Leviedan looked at him with a fawning expression. "Grand Mage Tyr, what brings you to the Mage Tower? If you had told beforehand, I could have arranged a proper welco for you."
The others nearby were disgusted by the sight.
They couldn’t even bear to look at him.
Although they also wanted to build a connection with Tyr and get closer to him...
...they wouldn’t stoop so low.

’But didn’t he already use Arnold to enter the Dream World yesterday?’
Li Wei was unaware of the deal between Tyr and Arnold.
Before long, Leviedan returned, leading a nervous and worried Delis to Tyr.
Leviedan spoke rudely to Delis, "Hurry up! Grand Mage Tyr is waiting for you!"

Delis was surprised. She quickly asked, "Grand Mage Tyr, you’ve seen my father? I haven’t seen him for seven days. Where is he?"
Tyr said, "You don’t need to worry about your father. He’s fine right now."
"As per my agreent with your father, I will take you as my apprentice."
"Do you accept?"
Delis stood there in a daze, unsure how to react.
It felt like a giant pie had fallen from the sky and knocked her senseless.
Leviedan’s eyes were wide and his jaw hung open in disbelief.
His hands were trembling.
’What have I just done?’
’How dare I lecture Mage Tyr’s disciple?’
Tyr asked Delis again.
Delis finally snapped out of it. She quickly bowed and said, "I am willing to beco Grand Mage Tyr’s disciple."
Tyr chuckled. "Still calling Grand Mage?"
"Teacher."
Delis quickly corrected herself.
Tyr smiled and patted Delis’s head, then took a Magic Staff from his Spatial Ring and handed it to her.
"This is a gift for our first eting. It’s inscribed with the Wind Blade Technique and can be used three tis without Mana."
"After you use them up, you can recharge it to use it again."
"Take good care of it."
Delis gripped the Magic Staff, her face alight with excitent.
"Is... is this really for ?"
A Magic Staff inscribed with Magic was no cheap item.
Even an Official Mage might not necessarily own one.
Only soone like Tyr could give one away so casually.
