Hobbes watched Li Wei walk into the Hall of Truth.
He was itching with curiosity.
He was extrely curious about the "good thing" Li Wei had just ntioned.
Although he was curious, he didn’t press the matter since Li Wei was unwilling to say more.
Li Wei pushed open the door and walked into the Sunshine Research Base.
Fang Lide was standing in the main hall, talking with a female Mage with golden hair.
Hearing footsteps, Fang Lide and the blonde female Mage turned to look at Li Wei.
When Fang Lide saw who it was, he smiled and said, "Li Wei, co over. This is the person I wanted to introduce you to."
The blonde female Mage smiled and said, "Hello, my na is Lux Clark."
Li Wei reached out and shook her hand.
"Hello, I’m Li Wei."
Fang Lide said, "Li Wei, Lux is a Light Mage who is also extrely proficient in Holy Magic.
She will help you research how to fuse the Magic Models for the Radiance Skill and the Holy Light Technique."
Lux said, "I look forward to working with you."
Li Wei quickly replied, "I should be the one saying that. Thank you in advance for your guidance."
Fang Lide laughed. "Alright, you two, no need to be so formal."
He looked at Li Wei and asked, "How is your deduction of the Blast Fla Skill and the Burning Skill coming along?"
Li Wei said, "I’ve already completed the deduction. It only has twenty percent more Magic Circuits and Mana Nodes than the original Blast Fla Skill."
Fang Lide and Lux were both stunned to hear this.
He looked at Li Wei, finding it hard to believe.
"You’re saying you’ve completed it? And the number of Magic Circuits only increased by twenty percent?"
Li Wei nodded. "Yes."
"I’ve already inscribed the new Magic Model in this Magic Book. You can take a look."
Li Wei handed a Magic Book to Fang Lide.
Fang Lide quickly took the Magic Book and examined the Magic Model within.
After he finished reading, he stood frozen on the spot, silent for a long ti.
His reaction piqued Lux’s curiosity.
She asked, "May I see it?"
Although she wasn’t an expert in Fire Elent Magic, as a Magic Scholar, she could still tell a good Magic Model from a bad one.
Hearing her, Fang Lide snapped out of it and handed her the Magic Book.
As Lux examined the Magic Model, Fang Lide turned to Li Wei and gave him a deep, aningful look.
He was utterly astounded.
The scholars in the Sunshine Research Group had spent several months trying to fuse the Magic Models for the Blast Fla Skill and the Burning Skill, and had only just achieved a relatively decent result.
Their new Magic Model had fifty percent more Magic Circuits than the original Blast Fla Skill’s model.
That was already the current limit of the research group.
But to his surprise, Li Wei had deduced a brand-new Magic Model with only twenty percent more Magic Circuits in just a few days.
This was simply too shocking.
After the shock wore off, Fang Lide was overco with the imnse joy of having found a hidden treasure.
He was incredibly thankful that he hadn’t rejected Li Wei’s request to join the Sunshine Research Group.
Otherwise, if Li Wei had gone to another research group, he would have missed out on a huge prize.
Li Wei felt Fang Lide’s gaze growing more and more intense, and he started to feel a bit flustered.
The corner of his mouth twitched as he lowered his head and thought, ’Boss, can you please not look at like that? It’s making really uncomfortable, like I have needles on my back.’
After Lux finished examining the new Magic Model Li Wei had deduced, she too fell silent for a long ti.
She was equally shaken and shocked.
Fang Lide had told her that Li Wei had only just been introduced to this research a short while ago.
How many days had it been?
Li Wei’s results were even better than what her team had achieved in several months.
Lux looked at Li Wei and exclaid in amazent, "You’re truly incredible!"
Li Wei said humbly, "It was nothing special. The two Magic Models were already quite similar. It only took one night to fuse them, and then a few days to reduce the number of extra Magic Circuits from fifty percent down to twenty."
Hearing this, Fang Lide and Lux subconsciously glanced at each other. They both saw the utter astonishnt in the other’s eyes.
Li Wei’s humble words made the two of them question their own abilities even more.
’So Li Wei’s results from one night are equivalent to our results from several months?’

Fang Lide couldn’t help but smile bitterly, a trace of sourness in his heart.
Once upon a ti, he had been the genius Mage in everyone else’s eyes.
He never thought he would one day feel jealous of soone else.
To be honest, he was already a little jealous of Li Wei’s talent.

Fang Lide looked at Li Wei and said seriously, "Li Wei, starting today, you can participate in all projects at the Sunshine Research Institute."

Fang Lide said, "Put the Sunshine Magic Model research aside for now. I have a more urgent matter for you."
Lux showed a surprised expression upon hearing this.
She looked at Fang Lide and said, "Isn’t it a bit inappropriate to have him participate? This project is already in its final stages. If he just jumps in now, other people will have objections."
Fang Lide stated firmly, "I’m in charge. No one will object."
Lux was at a loss for words.
She felt a bit helpless.
As the main person in charge of the Sunshine Research Room, Fang Lide held the most Power and his word was law.
The decisions he made were ones that others truly could not oppose.

After all, the project was already at its very end.

It was useless for anyone to join at this point, let alone participate in the research and make a Contribution.
Even if Fang Lide himself went, he could only be a bystander, watching the others work, and wouldn’t be able to get involved.
Seeing Fang Lide and Lux’s reactions, Li Wei grew curious instead.
He asked, "What is it?"
Fang Lide said, "The Radiant Magic Cannon research project."

A look of surprise appeared on Li Wei’s face.
