Li Wei looked up at the sky.
The sky outside the volcanic crater was still bright, filled with burning fire clouds.
Li Wei murmured, "Hasn’t it been almost a full day?"
Stier, sitting to one side, said, "The Fire Elental Plane has no night. It’s like this all year round."
Li Wei glanced at him but said nothing.
Both of them were quietly waiting for the Spirit Gathering Crystals to fill.
Half a day passed. The Spirit Gathering Ceremony’s speed of absorbing Fire Spirits began to slow.
The surrounding Fire Spirits hadn’t decreased significantly.
This ant the Spirit Gathering Crystals were almost full.
The ti for harvest was approaching.
It was all thanks to Stier’s Four-direction Star Lock Magic Barrier, which could shield the aura of the Fire Spirits.
Otherwise, it would have been impossible to stay here peacefully for half a day.
Stier saw the light of his Spirit Gathering Crystal dim and slowly extinguish.
He stood up in excitent. This was the sign that the Spirit Gathering Crystal was full.
It was the first ti Stier had ever seen a full Spirit Gathering Crystal.
"Mine’s almost full, too,"
Li Wei said.
Stier looked at him, a little surprised. "How is that possible?"
"I set up my Spirit Gathering Ceremony before you did. How are you so fast?"
He saw that Li Wei’s Spirit Gathering Crystal was also showing signs of its light receding.
The sight truly surprised him.
Li Wei smiled. "Of course, it’s because my Spirit Gathering Ceremony is more efficient."
Stier looked at Li Wei, not knowing what to say.
He simply turned his head back to his Spirit Gathering Crystal, waiting for the final harvest.
Ten minutes later, the light of the Spirit Gathering Crystal had completely receded.
It was much brighter than the original, pure Fire Elent Magic Crystal.
But it didn’t have that piercing, dazzling feeling.
It looked much gentler.
Li Wei’s Spirit Gathering Crystal filled up soon after.
The two were just about to retrieve their Spirit Gathering Crystals.
A tremor ca from within the Magma Lake, and a large number of bubbles surged to the surface.
Li Wei instinctively turned to look.
He saw the center of the Magma Lake slowly rise as vast sheets of magma rushed to surge in all directions.
A powerful aura appeared within his range of perception.
Li Wei’s heart leaped. Before he even saw it, he knew what it was.
There was only one being within the volcano that possessed such terrifying might.
The Fire Elental Lord!
Li Wei panicked. ’What’s happening? Why did we alert the Fire Elental Lord?’
Stier had also spotted the Fire Elental Lord.
He hurriedly checked the Four-direction Star Lock Magic Barrier.
He said anxiously, "The Barrier is fine! How could it have attracted the Fire Elental Lord?"
Even the weakest Fire Elental Lord was a Tier Six being.
They were no match for it at all.
If the Fire Elental Lord decided to attack them, they probably wouldn’t even have a chance to escape.
At least, that’s what Stier thought.
Li Wei, however, felt he still had a sliver of hope.
While waiting for the Spirit Gathering Crystal to absorb the Fire Spirits, he hadn’t been idle. He had restored all the layers of his Invisible Armor that Stier had shattered.
The Seventy-Two-Layer Shield could at least block one blow from the Fire Elental Lord.
That would give him a chance to use Fire Escape and flee.
Li Wei was confident that if he unleashed his Fire Escape, not even the Fire Elental Lord could catch him.
After continuous deduction and enhancent, his Fire Escape had long since reached Tier Three.
Its top speed had reached Mach three.
Ordinary attacks couldn’t possibly catch up to Li Wei’s speed when he was fleeing at full power.
At Mach three, Li Wei only dared to fly in his Fire Elentalization form.
Otherwise, a careless collision could turn him into a pulpy ss.
The two watched the Fire Elental Lord nervously.
After a mont, they realized the Fire Elental Lord hadn’t appeared because it was attracted to the Spirit Gathering Crystals.
After erging, the Fire Elental Lord looked up at the sky.
A figure erged from the thick volcanic ash in the sky.
It was an enormous Firebird.
Looking out from the volcano’s crater, Li Wei could only see the Firebird’s body.
Not a single sliver of sky was visible.
This just showed how imnse the Firebird’s size was.
The Fire Elental Lord made a droning sound, and the Firebird let out a clear cry.
Li Wei watched, completely baffled.
"Are they communicating?"
Li Wei asked.
Stier glanced at him and said, "That’s Elental Language, the language used by Elental Elves."
Li Wei’s mouth twitched. ’What’s the point of explaining that?’
’If you understand it, just translate.’
’Did he really have to show off that he knew a foreign language?’
Stier gave Li Wei a smug look.
Elental Language was a rare tongue. Few people learned it, and even fewer had the opportunity to.
As it happened, Stier had the opportunity, and he had learned it.
Not only that, but he had also mastered multiple languages.
Elental Language, Demon Language, Beastman Language, Elf Language, the Continent-wide Language... he knew them all.
In terms of linguistic talent, he was an absolute genius.
Elental Language, Demon Language, and Elf Language were not simple languages.
The languages themselves contained a special kind of Power.
The Chanting Spells of Ancient Mages utilized the Power within Elf Language and Elental Language.
Modern Mages rarely use Chanting Spells anymore. Casting with Magic Models is more advanced and convenient than chanting spells.
And using Spell Slots is even more convenient than using Magic Models.
After his mont of smugness, Stier said, "That Firebird is called Garuda. From what the Fire Elental Lord is saying, it sounds like Garuda works for the ruler of the Fire Elental Plane."
"Garuda ca to give the Fire Elental Lord an order: prepare to head to the Main Plane. The Fla Dominator is about to launch a cross-plane war."
Li Wei looked astonished.
"A cross-plane war? Shouldn’t we report sothing this urgent to the Elental Tower?"
Stier chuckled. "What’s the big deal? Let’s talk again when the Fla Dominator actually manages to fight its way into the Main Plane."
"We don’t need to worry about this. After all, the Main Plane is protected by Divine Spirits. The Fla Dominator from the Fire Elental Plane is considered a Divine Spirit from an Exotic Realm. The Divine Spirits of the Main Plane won’t let it in easily."
Hearing this, Li Wei nodded.
Suddenly, the color drained from Stier’s face.
Li Wei asked, "What’s wrong?"
He didn’t need Stier to answer; Li Wei already understood why.
After conversing with the Fire Elental Lord, Ragnar, the Firebird Garuda turned its head and looked toward their position.
A cold sweat instantly broke out on Li Wei’s skin.
The Firebird Garuda said, "Conveniently, there are two humans right here. You can go to the Main Plane through them. The Dominator will contact you then. See you on the Main Plane."
With that, the Firebird Garuda flew into the sky and vanished.
The Fire Elental Lord looked at Li Wei and Stier.
With a casual wave of its hand, it raised a pillar of molten fire that pierced through the Magic Barrier.
The two of them were completely exposed before the Fire Elental Lord.
Now that the Magic Barrier was gone, all sorts of hazardous substances and acrid slls from within the crater rushed toward them.
Stier’s face was a little pale.
He had understood the Firebird Garuda’s words.
He understood that if the Fire Elental Lord needed his help to get to the Main Plane...
...he might be safe for the ti being.
But there were no guarantees about the future.
The Fire Elental Lord, Ragnar, looked at the two of them and said in a rumbling voice, "You two. I only need one of you."
At these words, the way Stier looked at Li Wei changed in an instant.
