While Li Wei was still confused, wondering what the Fire Elental Lord had ant, countless thoughts were already racing through Stier’s mind.
He had understood the Firebird Garuda’s words, so he knew what Fire Elental Lord Ragnar was saying.
Li Wei, who didn’t know Elental Language, had no idea what the Firebird Garuda had just said.
As a result, he was still completely baffled.
’The importance of knowledge. It can save your life at a critical mont.’
That single sentence from Fire Elental Lord Ragnar made Stier subconsciously want to eliminate Li Wei.

giving Li Wei no ti to react.

Flas instantly engulfed Li Wei and the stone platform.
Fire Elental Lord Ragnar watched this scene with indifference.
As a Fire Elental Lord, he wasn’t as simple-minded as most humans believed.
On the contrary, he had lived for over a thousand years and witnessed countless instances of human depravity.
’What gives humans the confidence to believe that a powerful being who has lived for over a millennium is less intelligent than they are?’

Seeing Stier launch a sneak attack on Li Wei, Ragnar sneered inwardly.

’I really don’t understand why the gods would favor such a race.’
A mont later, the flas dissipated. Ragnar’s gaze faltered, and he froze on the spot.
After the flas vanished, the two people on the stone platform were gone.
After a long mont, Ragnar ca to his senses and let out a furious roar toward the sky.
’He’d been tricked by humans!’
These two humans hadn’t tried to kill each other at all. Instead, they had put on a show for him, tricking and making a fool of the brilliant Fire Elental Lord.
RUMBLE!
Fire Elental Lord Ragnar shot out of the volcano’s crater.
He saw two figures rapidly receding on the distant horizon.
In a fit of rage, Fire Elental Lord Ragnar imdiately took flight and chased after the two of them.
He would drag them both back and torture them viciously.
Their little act made Ragnar feel as if his intelligence had been trampled into the dirt.
He had always been proud of his intellect.
Now, his greatest source of pride had been stomped on.
Fire Elental Lord Ragnar was consud by humiliated rage.
WHOOSH! WHOOSH! WHOOSH!
The Fire Elental Lord’s roars echoed from behind them.
Li Wei glanced back and increased his speed.
What Stier had just used was a Blinding Technique.
The true purpose of that Magic Scroll wasn’t to attack at all.
It was for teleportation.
Li Wei had played along, creating a blaze of fire that engulfed them both.
Then, under the cover of the flas, the two of them teleported away from the volcano.
Unfortunately, the teleportation distance wasn’t very far—only a few hundred ters.
The mont they were clear of the volcano, both of them cast a Flying Spell and fled for their lives.
Li Wei cast Fire Escape.
Two burning Demon Wings sprouted from Stier’s back, and his speed surprisingly kept up with Li Wei’s normal flight.
Seeing the Fire Elental Lord closing in from behind,
Stier shouted, "Split up!"
"Okay!"
Li Wei shouted in reply.
The two of them split up, speeding off in opposite directions.
Seeing this, Fire Elental Lord Ragnar waved his hands, and two Lava Fireballs shot out in pursuit of Li Wei.
He, however, chased after Stier, as he felt it was Stier who had made a fool of him.
He would capture Stier and torture him rcilessly.
As for Li Wei, if he couldn’t be caught, killing him would suffice.
Stier’s face turned bitter when he saw Fire Elental Lord Ragnar coming after him.
He cursed inwardly, ’Damn it! Why isn’t he chasing Li Wei?’
Seeing Fire Elental Lord Ragnar getting closer and closer,
Stier grimaced and tore open another Teleportation Scroll.
A flash of silver light shone, and he vanished on the spot.
Fire Elental Lord Ragnar glanced around before chasing off in a certain direction.
Stier had created so distance, but it wasn’t nearly enough.
Fire Elental Lord Ragnar had still managed to find him.
Li Wei looked back and saw two massive Lava Fireballs flying toward him.
He hurriedly shot his own Fireballs, trying to destroy the two massive Lava Fireballs.
Unexpectedly, as his Fireballs got close, they were simply swallowed up, having no effect at all.
This was an attack from a Tier Six Elental Lord.
It was incredibly difficult to neutralize.
Seeing this, Li Wei simply accelerated.
"Fire Escape!"
His entire body underwent Elentalization.
Flas erupted from his back.
He accelerated in an instant.
Transforming into a streak of fire, he shot into the distance.
The Lava Fireballs chased Li Wei for a few seconds before losing their target and falling to the ground.
They exploded on impact, carving out two giant craters and obliterating any Magic Beasts caught in the blast.
’I shook them off. *Phew*...’
Li Wei glanced back, and upon seeing he’d lost the Lava Fireballs, he quickly slowed down.
Suddenly, he felt a wave of heat from above.
Looking up, he saw a Fire Cloud slowly descending over his head.
A massive head lowered itself from the Fire Cloud, its enormous, burning eyes staring down at Li Wei.
Li Wei’s gaze froze, and a shudder ran through his body.
’Firebird Garuda!’
’Shit, how did I run into this thing?’
The Firebird Garuda had seen sothing rapidly approaching from behind.
It was moving even faster than itself, so it had stopped out of curiosity to investigate,
only to discover it was a human who had undergone Elentalization.
"An interesting human."
Just as Li Wei was about to flee,
an invisible Power from all around him locked his body in place.
The Firebird Garuda seized Li Wei and flew toward the depths of the Fire Elent Secret Realm.
Li Wei had a very bad feeling about this.
’Thinking back, this seems to be the second ti I’ve been snatched up by a bird.’
’Oh, wait, last ti it wasn’t a bird. It was a Hand and Foot Winged Dragon.’
’Neither experience was pleasant.’
Li Wei wondered if he was sohow jinxed when it ca to the sky.
’Why is it that every ti I fly at full speed, I get snatched by a bird?’
’And the kind I can’t even fight back against, at that.’
As the Firebird Garuda carried Li Wei swiftly across the Fire Elental Plane, Li Wei discovered that this plane wasn’t actually devoid of plant life.
He saw a forest of burning trees, their leaves made of pure fla.
After flying over a river of fire, the Firebird Garuda brought Li Wei into a land of searing flas.
The temperature here was astonishingly high.
The intense heat baked Li Wei, making him dizzy and lightheaded.
Fortunately, it wasn’t long before the Firebird Garuda dropped him in a rocky nest.
Li Wei recovered his Power, and his Invisible Armor materialized to block out the intense heat.
This was the only reason he wasn’t roasted to a crisp.
