The three of them hung in mid-air.
They looked down at the pitch-black pit below.
Li Wei asked, "Should we go down?"
"We’re still not sure if that’s the third level of the Poison Dragon Cave down there."
Evelyn said, "We have no other choice."
Lilith said, "I’ll go down first."
With that, she dissolved into a mass of shadow, slipped free of the twining vines, and vanished into the pit.
Li Wei wanted to stop her, but seeing how fast she moved, he had no choice but to follow.
"I’m going down."
Li Wei leaped into a spatial fissure and disappeared.
The mont he entered the spatial fissure, he transford into his Fla Lord form.
’I really don’t want to fall to my death.’
At least in his Fla Lord form, even if the No Flying restriction ant he would shatter on impact, he could still regenerate.
At least he wouldn’t die.
Evelyn entered the spatial fissure after him.
Li Wei passed through the spatial fissure. Everything went dark, then light burst forth.
He forced his eyes open to take in the scene.
The scene around him was utterly astonishing.
This place wasn’t an underground world at all.
The sky was clear and blue, with white clouds drifting lazily by.
Aside from the missing Sun, it looked no different from the world outside.
Li Wei was plumting downwards.
Like a teor of fire plunging through the sky.
Just as he’d feared, as soon as he entered this place, he felt a Power restricting his ability to fly.
A Forbidden Sky Domain.
Just as he thought he would plumt to the ground and shatter into pieces...
...he found his ability to fly returned when he was still a hundred ters from the ground.
He slamd on the brakes, narrowly avoiding a head-on collision with the ground.
WHOOSH!
Li Wei landed, his body reverting to its normal form.
A shower of petals materialized beside him, from which Evelyn’s figure erged.
Li Wei turned his head and glanced over.
His gaze shifted. ’Wait... was Evelyn naked when she erged from those petals?’
Evelyn’s thod of movent left Li Wei baffled.
’What’s the principle behind that?’
’Spatial travel?’
’Or was it a positional swap?’
Li Wei guessed it was most likely an ability from the Hundred Flowers God.
A dark shadow shot towards them.
Lilith erged from a shadow on the ground.
"There’s no danger here,"
Lilith said.
She had already retrieved the few Shadow Creatures that had fallen into this place.
According to the Shadow Creatures, they hadn’t encountered any danger after entering.
A thoughtful look appeared on Li Wei’s face.
He scanned his surroundings.
"Could this be the legendary Peach Blossom Spring?"
Li Wei guessed.
Evelyn wasn’t sure either.
After all, no one had ever been inside the Peach Blossom Spring.
The main reason for her uncertainty was the legend that placed the Peach Blossom Spring deep within the third level of the Poison Dragon Cave.
They hadn’t even reached the third level yet, so how could they have entered the Peach Blossom Spring?
This was what puzzled Evelyn.
"I don’t know either," Evelyn said.
Li Wei looked around and said, "Then let’s explore the area first. It doesn’t seem dangerous here. How about we split up?"
Lilith said, "No objections from ."
Evelyn nodded,说道:"Then let’s split up."
The three separated, heading in three different directions to explore this mysterious place.
They agreed that if they ran into anyone else or encountered anything strange, they would fire a signal into the sky, and the other two would co imdiately.
Li Wei walked onward for a while but didn’t see anything special.
It was just like an ordinary forest, with common plants, clear water, and unremarkable soil.
It was nothing like the environnt one would expect to find in the Poison Dragon Cave.
The Poison Dragon Cave was a place of barren mountains and treacherous waters.
Compared to the Poison Dragon Cave, this place could be considered fertile land.
As Li Wei was walking, a loud BANG echoed from the sky.
He whipped his head around to see a streak of green light in the sky.
That was Evelyn’s signal.
Li Wei hurriedly rushed in Evelyn’s direction.
He had only taken a few steps when a flash of black light appeared from another direction.
That was Lilith’s signal.
Li Wei glanced back and forth. ’Which way should I go?’
’How could they both have run into trouble?’
Li Wei hesitated for a mont, then hurried in Lilith’s direction.
’If this is the Peach Blossom Spring Realm, Evelyn might have run into Alice. She knows Alice, so she shouldn’t be in any danger. Lilith, however, could be in real danger.’
All things considered, Li Wei chose to find Lilith first.
He would find Evelyn afterward.
Partway there, a thought suddenly struck Li Wei: he didn’t actually have to choose.
He rubbed the True Dharma Ring on his hand, and a nearly identical figure appeared beside him.
Under the effect of the True Dharma Ring, his Illusion Technique was elevated to Tier Three.
The Illusory Body possessed one-tenth of Li Wei’s Power.
Li Wei sent the Illusory Body to find Evelyn.
His main body continued toward Lilith.
He had split up.
’The gift from my master really cos in handy in a pinch,’ Li Wei thought.
Flying quickly at a low altitude, Li Wei soon spotted Lilith.
Lilith was in a standoff with a man.
Li Wei’s arrival attracted the man’s attention.
He instinctively turned to look at Li Wei.
Li Wei landed beside Lilith and asked, "What’s going on?"
Lilith said, "It’s nothing. I just sent the signal for you to co over."
The Illusory Body was still on its way.
The scene witnessed by his Illusory Body appeared in Li Wei’s mind.
He now had two fields of vision.
This wasn’t his first ti using an Illusory Body, so Li Wei was already accustod to the dual perspective.
He kept his main focus on his original body, and would only shift his attention if the Illusory Body ran into trouble.
Li Wei looked at the man opposite them and, clasping his hands politely, asked, "Hello. Could you please tell us where we are?"
The man looked at Li Wei, finding it strange. "You managed to get in here, yet you don’t know where you are?"
He said, "This is the Peach Blossom Spring Realm."
Hearing this, Li Wei’s mind was put at ease, and he breathed a sigh of relief.
’The journey was a bit winding, but at least we’ve finally made it to the Peach Blossom Spring Realm.’
He quickly asked, "Do you know Alice?"
The man’s expression turned wary upon hearing her na.
"Who are you?"
Seeing his reaction, Li Wei knew the man almost certainly knew Alice.
He quickly explained, "We were sent by Evelyn to find the Alice City Lord."
"Evelyn?" The man looked surprised.
"Did she really send you?" The man sounded skeptical.
Li Wei nodded, "Yes."
He thought of sothing, took the Crystal Flower out of his Spatial Ring, and showed it to the man.
"This is the proof."
The man’s expression changed the instant he saw the Crystal Flower.
He stared at Li Wei, utterly surprised and astonished.
"Where did you get the Crystal Flower?"
Li Wei answered, "A reader sent it to ."
"Wait, you’re the author of the novel Dragon Knight?" the man exclaid.
At this, Lilith instinctively turned to look at Li Wei.
She, too, was surprised.
Lilith had heard of the Dragon Knight novel. She had even read so of it.
She’d never imagined that the author was Li Wei.
Li Wei nodded, "Yes, I’m the author."
The man breathed a sigh of relief and introduced himself, "Hello, my na is Kristiman, the Windflower ssenger of the Hundred Flowers Clan."
