Upon seeing the figure appear, Alan imdiately went to greet him. "Mr. Scamander, I'm so sorry to make you travel so late at night."
The person who appeared in the clearing was Newt, and he also smiled and ca forward when he saw Alan. "I should be the one apologizing for making you wait." With that, Newt twisted his neck uncomfortably. "But speaking of which, I haven't used a Portkey in a long ti. Compared to this rough way of traveling, I prefer Muggle transportation. Although it takes a bit longer, it's more comfortable and I can enjoy the scenery along the way."
After a jest, Newt looked around again. "Why hasn't Andre arrived yet? Didn't you say we were supposed to et together?"
"I ca too early. To be on the safe side, I had to set up controls here in advance." With that, Alan opened a pocket watch and glanced at it. "They're still about ten minutes away from arriving. Why don't you let the others out first, lest they get too cooped up."
"Haha, you underestimate them too much. Those guys are probably bored and passing the ti right now." Newt joked, then placed the briefcase he was holding on the ground, opened the lid, and shouted inside, "We're here, co out quickly!"
"So fast? My butt hasn't even ward up yet!"
Before a figure could be seen, a rough voice ca from the briefcase, and then, a mont later, Moody's fierce, grim face peered out. After glancing around for a mont, he focused his gaze on Alan beside him. "I knew you were reliable, kid. In just a few days, you've helped us catch a big fish."
But before Alan could reply, a female voice ca from the box beneath Moody, "Moody, you idiot, don't block the exit! Nobody wants to look at your disgusting backside!"
"Uh…"
Moody's grim face, which had been interrupted, turned red with embarrassnt, and he quickly clambered out of the box. Following closely behind Moody, Alia finally managed to climb out during this ti. After successfully landing, she gave Moody a displeased glare, clearly indicating that being behind Moody was not a pleasant experience for her.
As these two high-ranking officials from the Departnt of Magical Law Enforcent stopped blocking the way, the other people in the briefcase began to erge continuously. First and foremost was Britain's Hit Wizards squad. Of the twelve-person elite team, all ten mbers were present, except for two who had to remain in Britain to protect Minister Badenough, including Captain Moody and Vice-Captain Scrimgeour.
In addition to these Hit Wizards, twelve elite Aurors also appeared one by one. These people were all old acquaintances of Alan, mostly veterans who had fought alongside him in the previous battle in Northern Ireland, including the familiar Mavis. For this operation, the British Ministry of Magic had truly exerted great effort, mobilizing nearly half of the combat personnel from the Departnt of Magical Law Enforcent for support.
However, the last three people to erge were sowhat unexpected for Alan: Hagrid, Professor Kettleburn, and Aseria.
"Hagrid, Professor Kettleburn, why are you two here too?"
As Aseria was from the Departnt for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures, it was understandable for Newt to ask her to help care for magical creatures, especially since she had been very close to Alan and his group in recent months. However, the appearance of Hagrid and Professor Kettleburn was surprising. It should be noted that Hogwarts was still in session at this ti. Was it really okay for one to be the Keeper of Keys and the other a Professor of Care of Magical Creatures to appear here?
"Hehe, Alan, you secretly do bad things without telling an old guy like . Aren't you taking as a friend too lightly?" Kettleburn, dragging his prosthetic limb and leaning on a cane, limped over to Alan. "I heard you found hundreds of magical creatures from those smugglers. How could we stay put? Besides, we ca with Dumbledore's permission. Everything at Hogwarts is fine. It's only a few days' delay, and we can just make up the classes for those young brats when we get back."
"Is that so?" Alan looked at Scamander with so surprise.
"Indeed." Newt nodded upon hearing this. "I requested this from Dumbledore. Considering the large number of magical creatures that need to be relocated this ti, and the need for proper care, I can't handle it alone. So I specifically entrusted these three to co and help. Kettleburn has rich experience in caring for magical creatures, and Hagrid also has unique thods for handling high-risk magical creatures."
"Don't worry, Alan." At this mont, Hagrid, who resembled a small giant, also responded with a smile. "We won't cause you any trouble. Just thinking about so many young darlings being imprisoned by those smugglers right now, we can't sleep at night."
Alan could only nod helplessly at this point. Having them help care for those magical creatures was not a bad thing either. And just as he was exchanging pleasantries with the arriving crowd, a series of whooshing sounds ca from the sky around them. Everyone looked up and saw that Andre, with a dozen or so people, had already arrived on flying brooms and were circling in the sky.
"Oh, my brain! I almost forgot about this." Seeing this, Alan quickly turned off the shielding jamr beside him. He had previously used the jamr to shield this area to prevent anyone from intruding. Andre and the others probably couldn't find them now.
As soon as the jamr was turned off, Andre imdiately spotted the group on the ground and then motioned for his subordinates to descend directly.
"Alia, Newt, Moody, long ti no see!" Andre, having just landed, laughed loudly as he ca forward.
"You too, Andre, after all these years, you're still so energetic." Alia was clearly an old acquaintance of Andre's, and she excitedly stepped forward to shake his hand.
"You are still as beautiful as you were when you were young." Andre, seeing his old friend, spoke more warmly, and then he looked around. "I didn't expect you to send so many people. Are you personally commanding this ti as well?"
"No, for this operation, we're all listening to Alan. I think you've t before, so you should be familiar with him by now." Alia looked at Andre, then shifted her gaze to Alan beside her.
"He's in command?" Andre looked at Alia and Alan with a strange expression. "What? Wasn't he just here for preliminary reconnaissance? Are all of you highly trained Aurors going to listen to him?"
It wasn't strange for Andre to have such doubts. He had only t Alan once before, and at that ti, he had disliked the young man's age. In the end, he rely stopped underestimating him. But now, organizing such a large-scale operation was no small matter. Was it really appropriate to let a young person coordinate it? Was he, the dignified Director of the Departnt of Magical Law Enforcent, supposed to take orders from a young kid? And upon receiving this information, in addition to Andre himself, the sixteen Aurors beside him also cast skeptical glances.
"Hey, you gorilla, don't underestimate Alan. He's not like you, with muscles for brains. Besides, the operation plan itself was deployed by him, so if we don't listen to him, who do we listen to?" Moody, leaning on his cane, jokingly teased at this mont. He and Andre were also quite familiar.
"You damn cripple, your mouth is still as foul." Andre couldn't help but roll his eyes at Moody's joke. However, he saw that even Moody, who always thought highly of himself, had acquiesced to this arrangent, and at the sa ti, seeing the twenty-odd Aurors behind him also acting as if it were perfectly normal, Andre's heart was filled with confusion. But he wasn't a finicky person, so he didn't say anything more.
And facing Andre's questioning, Alan was too lazy to clarify anything. He would only speak with facts, and then he shouted to everyone, "Since everyone has arrived, let's begin the war council. Please move."
With that, Alan opened his spatial briefcase and gestured for them to enter.
"Ah? Aren't we supposed to start the operation directly after eting up? Why do we still need a eting?" Andre didn't know much about this operation. He thought they would imdiately go to that base after eting up.
"You brute, all you know is to fight blindly. Do you even know what tactics are?" Moody gave Andre a disgusted look, then led the way into Alan's briefcase.
"You're talking about yourself, aren't you? Who doesn't know that the most reckless person in Britain is you? Now you have the nerve to talk to about tactics," Andre muttered after being retorted by Moody, but he saw that the British reinforcents around him showed no objection, so he could only suppress the doubts in his heart and lead his subordinates into the briefcase.
And as soon as he entered, Andre discovered that there was a hidden world inside. Right at the entrance, he saw a temporary conference room that could accommodate dozens of people. In the center of the conference room was a U-shaped long conference table ford by several rectangular tables joined together, with chairs arranged around the outside. In the middle of the table was a large sand table, and the opening of the U-shaped table faced a large screen.
However, at the head of the conference table, on the long table, there was actually a dog wearing glasses. Andre and his subordinates were utterly confused, completely unable to figure out what Alan was up to.
Alan, who entered last, saw Andre and the others standing there foolishly, and quickly called out, "Director Andre, don't just stand there like an idiot, quickly take a seat. We're short on ti, and the eting agenda is quite long, so it's better to get straight to the point."
With that, Alan sat down in the center of the conference table, next to Hog, and then pointed to the seat beside him, waving to Andre.
