Many of the people in the stands had no faith in Aoba Johsai at all. It was as if the match between the two teams had already ended before it had even begun.

When Hank entered the court and began warming up, he suddenly saw Kentaro Kyotani walking in through the side entrance. A faint teasing look appeared on his face. He had not expected Kyotani to actually co. After being provoked a little, Kyotani still had not been able to hold himself back.
Now, every piece needed to complete Aoba Johsai's lineup had been assembled. Once the match began, Kyotani could completely co on as his substitute.
That would prevent Aoba Johsai's combat strength on the court from dropping too severely after Hank left the court.
But whether they could make Kyotani obey orders was still a major problem. Next, it would depend on how well Oikawa could control him.

"Hank asked him to co over, but can he really serve as Hank's substitute?"
"Hank is Aoba Johsai's undisputed ace. If soone is going to substitute for him, then at the very least, they should be Aoba Johsai's second-strongest wing spiker!"
When the mbers of the Aoba Johsai club saw Kyotani arrive, so of their expressions suddenly changed. In their minds, they had absolutely no complaints about obeying a younger player like Hank, because his strength was plain to see.
He had won so many matches right after joining the Aoba Johsai club, and not a single match had gone wrong.
But what had Kyotani accomplished?
Aside from his love of acting on impulse, they really could not see any outstanding talent in him.
"Enough. Since Hank chose him, I'm willing to trust him unconditionally."
Oikawa did not say much. He could sense that Hank valued Kyotani. Since Kyotani would appear as a substitute, Oikawa only needed to keep the situation under control. After all, Aoba Johsai currently did not have another wing spiker who could make up for Hank's ability.
If Kyotani turned out to be useful, then he would not be a bad choice.

After Kyotani reached the bench, he casually picked up the uniform Aoba Johsai had previously prepared for him and began changing into it. Afterward, he naturally joined the warm-up by himself.
In his heart, the only person in all of Aoba Johsai he acknowledged was Hank. He did not take anyone else seriously at all.
A whistle rang out across the entire match venue.
After the main referees had taken their seats one after another, the chanical scoring devices beside the coaching areas of Aoba Johsai and Shiratorizawa quickly began making noise.

The chanical equipnt placed beside both coaches would be responsible for functions such as player substitutions and ti-outs during the match.
Only the head coaches of the two teams were qualified to use them.
"Number 1, Wakatoshi Ushijima!"
After the standard official female voice rang out, the powerfully built Wakatoshi Ushijima jogged straight in from outside the court to his position. At that mont, cheers instantly erupted throughout the entire venue. It was clear that the overwhelming majority of people in the gym were Wakatoshi Ushijima's fans.
From this alone, one could see just how terrifying his strength was.
After all, to a certain extent, a player's fans reflected the record and personal pressure he had accumulated up to this point.
