Oikawa could not help clenching both fists and shouting. They had finally managed to take a point from Shiratorizawa. Now they could launch a counterattack.
"Keep giving the ball to ."
Hank glanced at Oikawa beside him and spoke. Right now, the only way to keep the match going and reach the final victory was to keep sending the ball to him. Only by doing that could they smoothly carry this match forward.
Ideally, they would end the first set before Wakatoshi Ushijima on the other side fully unleashed himself.
Hank had already made up his mind to explode with everything he had in the first set and take the opening round first.

After the crisp sound of the volleyball crossing the net rang out, Hank successfully received Oikawa's set. Without the slightest hesitation, he slamd it straight down into Shiratorizawa's court. In that instant, his whole body poured force into the attack.
He looked like a bowstring drawn taut, an arrow about to be fired. When everyone watching nearby saw it, shock imdiately rose in their hearts.
Just from this alone, they could tell that Aoba Johsai's Hank had not scored by chance. His strength was genuinely fierce.
"That Hank from Aoba Johsai is seriously strong too. Looks like he might be on about the sa level as Wakatoshi Ushijima. At this rate, Shiratorizawa might actually get beaten."
"What are you thinking!? How could Shiratorizawa possibly lose?"
"If they want to beat Shiratorizawa right now, they have to seize the timing perfectly. Strength alone won't be enough. They'll need luck to keep up too."
The fans around the court had already begun analyzing the situation. Barring anything unexpected, Shiratorizawa should be able to take down Aoba Johsai. However, a variable had appeared on the court now.
That variable was Hank.
They had to find a way to deal with him. Otherwise, there was a real chance that a major problem would arise.
"I'll handle it."
After seeing Hank score three more points and tie the score again, a sharp gleam flashed through Ushijima's eyes. He then turned his head and glanced at Kenjiro beside him. Imdiately after that, he charged forward at high speed, jumped, and faced Oikawa and Iwaizumi's block head-on.
Once again, he smashed the ball down.
After a thunderous boom like a cannon shell, the court instantly grew much quieter.
Everyone was looking in Ushijima's direction, their eyes filled with excitent. This was the heavy cannon produced by their own region, a player who possessed absolute power!
When Coach Washijō saw Ushijima exert his strength again, a pleased look could not help appearing on his face. His trust in Ushijima was absolute, just like the trust every Shiratorizawa player on the court had in him.
"How is that possible? Even a two-man block can't stop him at all!"
As Oikawa fell back down, he felt an intense numbness spreading through both of his hands. His heart jolted. They had failed to block that ball.
That ant most of the force from the ball would continue straight into the back court!
Bang!
However, at that mont, Hank, who had already rotated into the back row, jumped up from where he stood. He actually forced down the ball that was about to fly out of bounds and stopped it with sheer force.
Seeing that scene, everyone off the court was instantly shocked.
