Chapter 336 – Sin in The Flesh

Rava groaned softly, still pinned beneath him, her body weak and drenched in heat. Her tentacles had finally gone slack, curling limply against the mattress like overcooked noodles. Her hair was wild. Her legs were sore in the best way. And Lux?

Lux looked like sin in the flesh.

Black hair tousled just right. That lazy incubus grin that always spelled trouble. And the worst part?

He knew it.

He leaned in and kissed her forehead with annoying tenderness, then trailed a line down her cheek with his thumb. "Let’s have breakfast," he said, voice still a little hoarse. "If we stay here too long, I might want more. Or..." He dipped lower, mouth grazing her collarbone. "Maybe I won’t let you go to work at all."

Rava blinked, breath catching.

That voice. That tease. That heat.

"Lux," she said, warning in her tone.

He kissed her again, lips warm. "Just saying."

She gave him a look. "I know you’re joking," she said with a soft laugh. "There’s no way you’re that spoiled."

But then—

His hands slid around her waist again. Gripped her tighter. Firr. Possessive.

The air changed.

Her smile faded slowly.

Because he wasn’t joking.

His eyes said it all.

And her chest tightened.

"...Lux?" she whispered.

He exhaled through his nose, held her for a beat longer—like he was burning the mory of her into his skin—then slowly let go. His hand lingered a second before dropping.

"You need to get ready," he murmured. "And I do too. I have sowhere I need to be."

She propped herself up, blinking. "Where?"

He stretched lazily, the sheets slipping down his back, revealing skin and clean-cut muscle that flexed with every breath.

"Nightlight Studio."

"Wait—what?" Rava blinked, brushing hair out of her face. "A... film company?"

Lux reached for his slacks with unhurried grace. "Not film. VR ga dev. Small team. Burned-out creatives. One semi-viral title from like... three years ago. The code’s good, the marketing sucks, and they’re currently drowning in debt to four different banks."

She stared. "That sounds tragic."

"It is." He pulled his pants on. "That’s why I’m going to buy it."

"You’re what?"

"Just funding it," he added quickly. "I need sothing to do while you’re all busy during the day. Don’t worry, I’m not planning to beco CEO or micromanage anyone. I just like the numbers. And... the concept. Creative leverage. Passive asset. You know."

She blinked again. "...You’re so hot when you talk like a villain."

He smirked. "I am a villain."

She laughed under her breath. "Yeah, no kidding."

Lux pulled on his shirt—thankfully, a clean one this ti—and adjusted the cuffs with practiced ease. "Don’t take too long. Or I will f*ck you again."

Her cheeks flared. "Lux!"

But he was already gone, striding through the door like he hadn’t just rearranged her entire spine ten minutes ago.

Rava groaned and flopped back on the bed. "I’m so dood," she mumbled.

Downstairs, the morning buzz of the mansion was in full swing.

Naomi sat at the long marble dining table, sleek in a pale blue robe, sipping black coffee and scrolling through her tablet. Her hair was still damp, pulled into a neat twist that frad her face in calm, dangerous precision.

Mira was across from her, bleary-eyed and half-conscious, poking at a bowl of lon cubes like they’d personally wronged her.

They both looked up when Lux entered.

"Morning," Naomi said. Her voice was pleasant. Her stare was surgical.

Mira gave him a slow, knowing glance. "You look suspiciously satisfied."

Lux grinned, all teeth and charm. "Good morning to you too, my darlings."

Naomi raised her cup. "Soone slept well."

"Define ’slept.’"

Before anyone could land a proper coback, the room shifted.

Sira entered.

Not walked. Entered. Like a goddess descending from a cloud of silk and danger.

She was in black satin robes that shimred like ink, her hair pinned up with silver combs. She paused as she spotted Lux.

Her eyes scanned him. Noticed the flush in his skin. The extra laziness in his gait. The faintest trace of lipstick smudged near his throat.

Her gaze narrowed. Then smirked.

"Oh..." she purred. "Soone just had morning sex."

Lux raised both hands in mock surrender. "Guilty."

Naomi choked on her coffee.

Mira winced and looked away.

Sira swept in like a panther and kissed him on the cheek, fingers trailing down his chest with casual familiarity.

"You’re glowing," she said.

"Thank you," Lux replied smoothly. "I moisturized. With praise and regret."

Naomi groaned. "Can we not start the day with innuendo?"

"Why not?" Sira said, already reaching for the coffee pot. "He already finished the main course."

Mira muffled a groan with a spoon. "Please stop."

"I’m just saying," Naomi added, voice dry.

Rava ca down monts later, dressed, damp-haired, and walking like soone who’d seen heaven and hell in the sa night.

Sira turned with shark-like speed. One look. One flick of the eyes.

Her smirk widened. "Ah," she said. "So you were the reason."

Rava’s blush exploded. "Shut up."

"Never," Sira replied, sipping her coffee like it was wine.

Naomi grinned. Mira didn’t even look up.

Lux, anwhile, sat down and started peeling an orange like he hadn’t started this chaos in the first place.

"So," he said. "Who wants eggs?"

Rava slumped into the nearest seat and covered her face.

"You’re incorrigible," Naomi said.

"Thank you."

"That wasn’t a complint."

Mira eyed him. "Are you planning to behave this week?"

Lux chuckled into his coffee like she’d just asked if the sea planned to dry up. "?" he said, lifting his brows. "Behave?"

He leaned back in his chair, that slow, satisfied grin spreading across his face like fire catching silk.

"No," he added, after a dramatic pause. "Definitely no."

He took a long sip of his coffee, eyes half-lidded with amusent, and casually checked his watch.

"Anyway," he said, voice breezy, "my car should be arriving soon."

He glanced across the table at Naomi and Rava, both of whom were almost finishing breakfast with very different levels of composure.
