After Slifera and Elisa left for the dical bay, the private viewing room suddenly beca much quieter.
Only Garion, Dahlia, and Alira remained.
Dahlia dropped onto the sofa and stretched her arms lazily. "Damn... Rovak really hits hard."
Garion laughed and sat back down beside her. "Of course. He’s a Drakhor. If he didn’t hit hard, that would be embarrassing."
Dahlia grinned. "True."
Alira quietly looked at Dahlia for a mont before speaking. "You should recover while you can. The final opponent won’t be simple."
Dahlia turned toward the arena screen. "Yeah. That’s what I’m waiting to see."
Garion leaned forward slightly, resting his chin on one hand. "So the next semifinal decides who fights Dahlia in the final, right?"
Alira nodded. "Correct."
The giant holographic screen above the arena soon changed.
The crowd outside was still roaring from Dahlia and Rovak’s battle, but when the next match announcent appeared, the atmosphere imdiately shifted again.
[Semifinal Match Two]
[Kaelvar Ignis]
[Dragon Race]
[VS]
[Liora Vane]
[Void Thread Race]
Dahlia’s eyes imdiately sharpened when she saw Kaelvar’s na. "Oh. The fire dragon."
Garion rubbed his chin with interest. "So if he wins, the final becos dragon versus dragon."
Alira nodded. "That would be the most dramatic outco for the broadcast."
Dahlia grinned. "Good. I wouldn’t mind fighting another dragon."
Garion’s gaze shifted toward the other na. "What about Liora Vane?"
Alira’s expression beca slightly more serious. "She’s dangerous too. Unlike Kaelvar, she doesn’t rely on overwhelming power. She uses thread-like void energy to restrict movent, cut energy flow, and attack from blind spots."
Garion raised an eyebrow. "So a control type?"
"Yes," Alira replied calmly. "And a very difficult one."
On the screen, Kaelvar Ignis walked into the arena first.
His crimson horns glowed faintly, and hot dragon aura spread around his body like waves of fire.
Opposite him, Liora Vane entered silently.
She looked calm, almost fragile, with long black hair and pale violet eyes.
Thin dark threads floated around her fingers, barely visible unless the light hit them correctly.
Dahlia leaned forward slightly. "She doesn’t look strong."
Alira answered calmly, "That is exactly why she is dangerous."
Garion grinned.
The protective barrier rose.
The announcer’s voice echoed across the arena.
"Semifinal Match Two!"
"Kaelvar Ignis versus Liora Vane!"
Dahlia’s grin slowly widened as she stared at both fighters. "Good."
Lightning flickered faintly around her fingers. "Show who I get to break in the final."
---
The announcer’s voice echoed across the arena.
"Begin!"
The mont the match started, Kaelvar Ignis moved first.
Flas erupted beneath his feet as his body shot forward like a crimson teor.
BOOOOOOM!!!
The arena floor cracked from the pressure alone.
Liora Vane did not panic.
Her pale violet eyes remained calm as her fingers moved slightly.
Thin black threads suddenly spread through the air.
[Void Thread Net]
The threads wrapped toward Kaelvar from every direction, trying to bind his limbs and restrict his movent.
But Kaelvar only narrowed his golden eyes. "Annoying."
His dragon aura exploded outward.
[Crimson Dragon Fla]
BOOOOOOM!!!
A wave of red fire burst from his body, burning away several void threads instantly.
Still, Liora’s expression did not change.
More threads appeared behind him, silently moving toward his blind spots.
Garion leaned forward slightly from the private room. "Oh? That’s tricky."
Alira nodded. "That’s why Liora reached the semifinals. Her attacks are hard to detect and even harder to avoid."
Dahlia stared at the screen without blinking. "But that fire dragon isn’t bad either."
Back in the arena, Kaelvar suddenly stopped charging.
He raised one clawed hand, then slamd his palm into the ground as the air around him beca unbearably hot.
[Dragon Fla Territory]
BOOOOOOM!!!
Crimson flas spread outward in a massive circle, covering almost half the arena.
Every hidden thread inside the fire zone burned brightly, revealing their positions.
Liora’s eyes narrowed for the first ti.
Kaelvar grinned coldly. "Found them."
He vanished into the flas.
Liora imdiately pulled her fingers back, causing countless void threads to form a defensive web before her.
But Kaelvar appeared directly in front of her.
His fist, covered in dragon scales and fire, smashed through the web.
CRACKLE! BOOOOM!!!
The void threads snapped apart.
Liora crossed both arms and was pushed backward by the impact.
Before she could recover, Kaelvar opened his mouth, and a burning light gathered around his throat.
The crowd instantly scread.
"Dragon breath!"
Liora’s expression finally changed.
She quickly ford layers of dark threads in front of her.
[Void Thread Barrier]
Kaelvar released the attack.
[Ignis Dragon Breath]
BOOOOOOOOOOM!!!
Crimson dragon fire swallowed the arena like a burning river.
The void barrier resisted for a few seconds before cracking apart layer by layer.
Liora was blasted backward and crashed into the arena wall, smoke rising from her clothes.
The referee quickly moved closer.
Liora tried to stand, but her legs trembled.
After a mont, she lowered her hand and sighed. "I surrender."
The arena fell silent for a second.
Then the giant screen flashed brightly.
[Winner]
[Kaelvar Ignis]
[Dragon Race]
The crowd exploded.
"Kaelvar won!"
"The final is dragon versus dragon!"
"Fire Dragon against God Gym’s Disaster Dragon!"
Inside the private viewing room, Garion slowly grinned.
"Ohhh..."
Dahlia’s eyes were already shining with excitent.
Across the arena, Kaelvar looked toward the screen displaying Dahlia’s na.
His golden dragon eyes narrowed slightly.
Dahlia stood up from the sofa and cracked her neck. "Hahaha..."
Her grin widened. "Good. The final just beca interesting."
Garion, sitting on the side, also started grinning. "Dragon versus dragon, huh?"
He leaned back slightly, eyes shining with amusent. "And not just any dragon. A fire dragon against my Disaster Dragon."
Alira glanced at him. "Kaelvar is not weak. His firepower is extrely high, and his battle sense is much better than most participants."
Garion nodded calmly. "Good."
Dahlia looked at him. "Master?"
Garion’s grin widened. "If he were weak, beating him wouldn’t advertise God Gym properly."
Dahlia laughed loudly. "Hahaha! That’s true."
She looked back toward the arena screen, where Kaelvar’s victory replay was still being shown. "Then tomorrow..."
Her disaster aura flickered faintly. "I’ll show that fire dragon what a real calamity looks like."
