The divine weapon on the other side was pletely bamboozled because, for the first time, he was in the examinee position instead of the examiner.

“You dare?! You pesky little fly! You dare to ask me to prove my worth?

I would have ended the Demon God if not for his gimmicky powers of reincarnation.

I am the only divine weapon in existence that solemnly defeated and controlled the other divine weapons, a feat that has never happened before in history.

I ended an entire generation of summoned heroes, including your predecessor.

I alone sealed off all the 5 Godbeasts in that ruined Abyss Empire.

I am the one who erased the existence of that kid, Argos, to the point that not even the Gods and Goddesses remembered him.

And you, a boy who isn’t even a 9th-stage Saint, dares to act so arrogantly in front of me?!” bellowed the war scythe in rage.

But instead of shouting back, Kahn asked with a calm tone…

“So what about it? You speak as if all those acplishments of yours make any difference in the present war against the demon god?

And with what hubris do you claim those achievements as your own?” asked Kahn.

Then, his tone turned serious as he spoke with an intense gaze…

“Milestones achieved on borrowed powers are nothing to be proud of. Everyone knows that you didn’t do it with your own merits, and your acplishments are nothing but hollow claims.” he declared.

“You speak as if controlling that might even when borrowed from external sources, is something everyone could do as they please.” rebuked Beelzebub in response.

“Let me explain in words you understand.” spoke the scythe and started transforming.

The transformation of the war scythe was nothing but disturbing, as it started as a mass of flesh and then grew at an alarming rate to the point it started taking a humanoid form, just like Amaterasu.

And in just 10 seconds, Kahn saw the true form of Beelzebub.

A 3-meter-tall being, matching the height of Amaterasu, stood tall in front of Kahn.

Its body was made of multiple layers of squirming and decaying flesh, each having its own distinct color, ranging from gray, black, red, white, and yellow.

Black blood seeped out of its fleshly avatar as the entire visage opened dozens of yellow reptile eyes all over the body, while the head itself had multiple horns and glowing red eyes.

On its back, there were 2 monstrous wings and multiple tentacles stretching out of the body, each ranging up to 2 meters long.

The claws on the hands and the pulsating armor of bones all over the body made the divine weapon more demonic than the demons themselves.

“I am the Lord of Gluttony and Decay,” declared Beelzebub.

“I can absorb and twist all the elements of reality to deconstruct it pletely. I can also corrupt those elements and laws of reality that are used by an opponent and stop them from using them during battle.

The more they use it, the more they lose control of their powers and eventually… it corrupts their bodies and souls.” he revealed the perks of his powers.

“And I can also devour their souls to strengthen myself even further.” he iterated as if declaring his supremacy over the world of the living.

“You see these chosen heroes on those thrones… I did the same thing to all of them when Morpheus had no choice but to kill them.” declared Beelzebub with an arrogant tone.

“Do you know why he did it? Destroying their souls and erasing their chance at reincarnation in any world in the multiverse?” he asked with a sinister voice.

“Why?”

“Because some of them were already corrupted by him and had any of them survived before our battle…

He would have simply resurrected again, this time… possessing a body of a chosen hero.” revealed the divine weapon.

Soon, Morpheus himself chose to explain…

“And since we didn’t know how many and exactly who… I had no choice but to make that decision, even though some of them were my friends.

I even admired the Hero of Sentience of my time, and the Hero of Wind was also a friend.”

Kahn then spoke directly to Beelzebub.

“I can also do similar feats like you, and I’m not even forged from an aspect of a god. So what makes you so special?” asked Kahn as if he wasn’t intending to bow down to Beelzebub.

“I don’t just kill things or souls… But I can also engulf their essence and make them pletely my own.

Like an endless darkness, I consume and devour everything. That included their unique existence itself.

And there is nothing in the world I can’t infect, corrupt, or mutate. Even a slight touch from me is enough to destroy an entire ecosystem and kill everything that lives within.

A sea will die, and an empire will rot just with my mere presence if I use my powers.

It was the very thing that made me the most terrifying existence even among the divine weapons.” declared Beelzebub in a domineering voice.

“Yeah, sure… Nurgle.” said Kahn.

“But I have no use for any of those powers of yours. And I sure as hell won’t be killing any heroes or seeking to control other divine weapons.

My way does not need to do any of that because what I have acplished so far makes your involvement in my plans… irrelevant.” said Kahn as he openly mocked the divine weapon.

“Especially if it is talking all that bullshit about me having to prove my worth to wield you.

I have a better success rate using Amaterasu and killing Demon God than conceding to your tantrums and going through that unnecessary work.

I already have my hands full, and I will be extremely busy to even practice any techniques once the Great War begins in a couple of months.” iterated Kahn firmly.

“The allure of the so-called mighty Divine Weapon, Beelzebub… feels like a waste of time.” declared Kahn majestically.

“WHAT?!! WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU CALLING A ‘WASTE OF TIME’, YOU SHIBAL SAEKKIYA?!!” shouted Beelzebub.

“Sorry for the uncouth words. He picked up my vocabulary from the time when I was newly summoned to this world and took a while to learn proper etiquette.” spoke Morpheus, almost embarrassed.

Kahn sighed and rolled his eyes as he folded his arms.

“Let’s just say that I entertain that thought…” he spoke with a tired voice.

“What do you want me to do?” asked Kahn.

To his simple query, Beelzebub made an outrageous demand openly…

“Offer me the soul of someone precious to you.”
