The second strike: a sweep.

The spear’s blade sliced across the second War General’s midsection. Like a plague clinging to bone, the Dark Gold Fla spread madly from the wound, devouring most of its body in just a few breaths.

The third and fourth War Generals finally reacted, letting out enraged howls as they pounced on Xu Wuyi from the left and right.

Xu Wuyi’s eyes were ice. He spun his long spear.

The spear’s shaft collided with the left War General’s sharp claws, sending sparks flying.

Using the recoil, the spear’s tip carved an uncanny arc, slipping into the right War General’s eye socket.

"SQUELCH!"

Brain matter mixed with flas sprayed from the back of its head.

The last War General’s claws reached Xu Wuyi’s back, but he neither dodged nor evaded. He spun around and threw a punch.

With the powerful physique granted by Minor Achievent in the Hundred Refinents lting Furnace and the explosive burst from lting Furnace Boiling Blood, this punch was every bit as powerful as one from a Power Martial Artist of the sa level.

"BANG!"

Fist and claw collided.

The Wolfman War General’s claws shattered, and its entire arm twisted out of shape. It scread and flew backward, but Xu Wuyi’s spear had already followed, piercing its heart.

From the first move to the end, it took less than ten seconds.

Four Wolfman War Generals, all dead.

The canyon fell silent for an instant.

Everyone looked at the young figure standing with his spear. At his feet were four rapidly charring corpses. The Dark Gold Fla burned quietly on his spear tip, reflecting in his calm yet cold eyes.

Milo’s scarlet pupils suddenly contracted.

He recognized Xu Wuyi—not by his face, but by that unique spiritual signature.

This was the one whose spirit had clashed with his across the canyon.

And this person had killed four War Generals in under ten seconds.

The Celestial Wolf Illusion behind Milo let out a silent roar, its oppressive aura intensifying. But for the first ti, a grave look appeared in his eyes.

Xu Wuyi stepped forward with his spear, joining Shi Gang, Liu Yue, and the others.

The nine of them once again had Milo surrounded.

But this ti, the dynamic had completely changed.

The captain of the lure squad, the middle-aged Martial Artist with the sword, wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth and grinned. "Nicely done."

Xu Wuyi nodded slightly, his gaze never leaving Milo.

Milo slowly scanned his surroundings, his scarlet pupils sweeping over every person’s face before finally locking onto Xu Wuyi.

"Human... strong," he said in halting Federation language, his voice hoarse and low. "Who... are you?"

"The one who will kill you," Xu Wuyi replied calmly.

Milo grinned, revealing stark white fangs. "With just you?"

"Try and find out."

The instant the words left his mouth, Xu Wuyi moved.

He didn’t have the others go first, but instead chose a direct frontal assault.

Because he knew that Milo’s attention was now entirely on him.

An opponent of this level, once they decided to retreat, would likely try to break through and escape at all costs.

He had to pressure him, force him to fight with all his might, making it impossible for him to focus on anything else.

Pushing his Instant Shadow Step to its limit, Xu Wuyi’s figure practically transford into a streak of dark gold light as his long spear thrust straight for Milo’s face.

At the spear’s tip, the [Undying Fla] was highly condensed, scorching the air into distorted ripples.

Milo roared and swiped with his claws.

This ti, he held nothing back.

Fully empowered by the Celestial Wolf Illusion, the strike was powerful enough to tear through heavy armor.

"CLANG----!!!!"

A deafening explosion echoed through the canyon.

Where the spear and claw collided, a shockwave exploded as if it were tangible, kicking up all the gravel and dust from the ground and forming an expanding ring of smoke and dust.

Xu Wuyi slid back more than ten ters, his spear-wielding right arm trembling slightly. The web between his thumb and forefinger had split open, and blood flowed down the spear shaft.

But he had blocked it.

He had clashed head-on with Milo in his Celestial Wolf Illusion state and was only at a slight disadvantage.

A look of disbelief flashed in Milo’s eyes.

’This human’s power... how could he be this strong?’

And in the instant his Heart and Spirit wavered, Shi Gang, Liu Yue, and the entire lure squad attacked as one.

Shields, blades, fists, and feet rained down on Milo from all directions.

Milo was forced to divide his attention to deal with them, the oppressive aura of the Celestial Wolf Illusion spreading out to counter the group’s siege.

Xu Wuyi took a deep breath, suppressing his roiling Qi and Blood.

He knew that last blow had made Milo wary.

And wariness led to distraction.

And distraction led to openings.

He advanced again, spear ready.

This ti, he didn’t choose to clash head-on. Instead, he utilized the finesse of his Instant Shadow Step to its fullest, his figure moving like a phantom as he weaved around Milo.

Every thrust of his long spear was vicious and cunning, aid directly at vital points like joints, eye sockets, and the throat.

Besieged by nine people, Milo began to struggle, even with the power of the Celestial Wolf Illusion.

Xu Wuyi’s spear was especially troubleso. That bizarre Dark Gold Fla, once it touched him, was like maggots clinging to bone, constantly eroding his Qi and Blood.

Although the Celestial Wolf Illusion could suppress the flas’ spread, it couldn’t extinguish them completely.

But what startled Milo even more was his discovery that there seed to be so kind of connection between the flas.

Every ti Xu Wuyi’s spear struck him, the previously scattered flas would "brighten" for a mont, as if they were calling out to each other.

’I can’t let this go on.’

A vicious glint flashed in Milo’s eyes.

He let out a sudden, violent roar as the Qi and Blood throughout his body began to burn wildly. The Celestial Wolf Illusion’s form swelled once more, and golden patterns appeared on its silver-white fur.

He was going to risk it all.

But just as the Celestial Wolf Illusion’s power reached its peak, a sharp light erupted in Xu Wuyi’s eyes.

’Now!’

He stopped weaving and ca to a halt ten ters directly in front of Milo. He gripped his spear with both hands, its tip angled toward the ground.

The Dark Gold [Undying Fla] rose from the spear shaft, no longer just clinging and burning, but flowing and coiling as if it were alive.

Xu Wuyi closed his eyes, then opened them again.

In his sea of consciousness, the Mountain Peak Great Sun Realm burned brightly.

’Fire is motion.’

’Flas can connect with other flas.’

’And once connected, they can... resonate.’

He raised his long spear, its tip aid at Milo.

Aid at the dozen or so wounds on Milo’s body that had been eroded by the [Undying Fla].

"Burn."

He uttered a single word.

The next mont, all the flas on Milo’s body "ca alive" at the sa instant.

They were no longer weak flickers suppressed by the Celestial Wolf Illusion, but had linked together, forming a dark gold net of fire that covered Milo’s entire body.

The mont the net of fire ford, the resonance began.

All the flas pulsed and burned at the sa frequency.

This quantitative shift triggered a qualitative transformation.

When scattered, they were just flas.

But connected and resonating, they beca... a "concept" of absolute incineration.

"ROAR----!!!"

Milo let out a bloodcurdling scream of utter agony.

The Celestial Wolf Illusion behind him trembled violently, and dark gold cracks appeared on its silver-white body.

The cracks spread rapidly, crawling across the entire illusion like a spiderweb.

The illusion let out a silent wail and began to crumble, inch by inch.

As for Milo’s physical body, it was as if he had been thrown into a lting Furnace. Dark Gold Fla erupted from his every pore, completely engulfing him.
