Until the class eting began and Old Yao’s projection appeared behind the podium, Doctor Xiao still couldn’t decide which brush to use to bless his new law book.

Therefore, when he noticed the professor on the podium tonight was just a projection, he couldn’t help but sigh in disappointnt.
“Don’t worry, the projection of a Legendary Wizard doesn’t compare to your shadow; anything we submit to Him can be considered as presented to the professor himself.” Xiao Xiao, while comparing the patterns on the two brushes, casually comforted him.
“I hope so.” The young scholarship student muttered, beginning to check the application materials in front of him.
The materials were from the Absolution Hunting Team, including records of the owning Forgiveness Knight Order, the team’s registration with the Club Union and the Hunting Committee, all achievents since its establishnt, honors received, and detailed information on each hunter, and so on.
All these materials need to be reviewed by the professor later; there can be no oversight.
As Zheng Qing recited the resu of the hunting team mbers for the ninth ti, the class eting concluded, and the young scholarship student perked up, reached out and gathered up the pile of materials, then rushed out of the classroom like a frightened rabbit, hoping to catch the professor before the projection disappeared.
“Professor! Professor Yao, please wait a mont.”
The warlock waved his arms, calling softly, finally catching the gradually fading professor around the corner of the hallway: “Please wait a mont, I have sothing I hope you can help with.”
The projection of the professor turned around in surprise, glanced at the young scholarship student, and stopped in his tracks.
Together with his halted footsteps, his shadow that was gradually fading also stopped.
“Don’t rush, speak slowly.” He smiled reassuringly, his image solidifying again: “Is there a problem with the assignnt for the Curse Course? Or the Philosophy of Magic? Or are you planning to request leave tomorrow morning?”
Zheng Qing shook his head quickly.
“No, no, no, it’s nothing to do with assignnts or leave.” He handed the thick stack of docunts to the professor, taking a mont to catch his breath before adding: “It’s about the school hunting party… the student council changed the rules for this year’s hunting competition; the participating hunting teams need to find a guidance professor… our Absolution Hunting Team hopes you can be our guidance professor, so…”
He rubbed his hands, showing a sincere smile.
The professor raised his eyebrows in surprise, briefly flipping through the materials.
“Asking to be the guidance professor is not…” his voice suddenly stopped, the professor tilted his head slightly, seeming to be listening to soone, although the direction was empty.
Zheng Qing quietly held his breath.
He guessed that the professor’s true form must be communicating with the projection.
“…I’m very sorry,” soon the projection returned to normal, apologetically shaking his head at the young man: “You’ll need to find another professor for guidance…”

“I know, I know.”
The professor’s projection raised his hand, pressing down repeatedly, finally silencing the still eager young man, then he chuckled twice: “I agree too, Absolution is an excellent hunting team… but as the dean of Jiuyou Academy, we are default appointed as guidance professors for our own academy teams.”
“Academy teams!” Zheng Qing slightly opened his mouth, realizing it was those most powerful hunting teams in the school.
The professor added: “Although ‘default’ appointnts can be flexible in many cases, first, after that notification ca out on Friday afternoon, Zhao Qiao imdiately contacted my true form and submitted the relevant application, then second, you also know I will be very busy in the coming period, I won’t be able to devote much energy to guiding hunting teams… Jiuyou Academy’s team is a seasoned hunting team, perhaps more suited to operate without my ddling guidance.”
Zhao Qiao is the captain of Jiuyou Academy’s team, shared the title of Three Heroes of Will along with Zhang Ji Xin’s brother Uncle Zhang Zhi, and the werewolf of the Judgent Hunting Team, Erwin Hoffman—of course, since this sester, the title of Three Heroes of Will probably hasn’t been used, because Uncle Zhi has beco the brand new ‘Will’.
Zheng Qing sighed in frustration.
Actually, when he received the paper crane notification from Jiang Yu himself on Friday, he had considered whether he should imdiately apply to Professor Yao, but at that ti, the guidance within Absolution’s team hadn’t been unified, plus the upcoming weekend promoted habitual laziness, resulting in missed opportunities.
“So,” Professor Yao’s projection raised his arm, patting the young man’s shoulder, reassuring: “I’m sorry I can’t help with this matter… but you still have many choices, like Professor Yi from the Divination Class, or Professor Li from Magic Potion Making, both have abundant hunting competition experience, and should have plenty of ti too.”
Zheng Qing barely managed to smile at the professor: “It’s okay, professor… sorry to bother you.”
With that, he accepted the application materials returned by the professor, gently bowed to express his gratitude. “It’s a no-go,” Zheng Qing shrugged, nonchalantly stating: “Old Yao and the other deans are ‘appointed’ as guidance professors for academy teams… we have to look for other professors.”
“I knew it!”
The fat Wizard indignantly waved his feather pen: “This lousy world… even in Jiuyou Academy, it’s difficult to find true ‘justice and equality’!”
