This kind of night is just perfect for love!
Later, the room returned to tranquility, but with a different kind of charm.
Qin Mu hid in his warm embrace, like a little woman with a big support, gradually falling asleep.
Mu Yichen gently held her, occasionally moving the long hair that obscured her face away.
She was particularly quiet when she slept, and Mu Yichen’s heart unconsciously softened. All the turmoil just a mont ago settled down once she fell asleep.
——
In the morning, the two little ones were playing in the heated play area, while the father and son were having a small spat over the issue of a belly bulge. To be precise, it was the old man having a spat with his son, who mostly ignored him, making every word exchange seem like a battle.
Feng Fanghua was about to go downstairs when she happened upon Qin Mu coming out looking fresh.
"Mom, morning!"
Qin Mu greeted happily.
"Hmm! Morning!"
Feng Fanghua responded, as Qin Mu walked over and naturally linked her arm as they went downstairs together.
It was then that Feng Fanghua realized, they’ve been mother and daughter-in-law for so long that even linking arms like this didn’t feel awkward.
"Mom, our studio has been helping the Cheongsam Association make cheongsams recently. Let make a few sets for you too; I’ll asure you later."
Qin Mu looked at Feng Fanghua, thinking her asurents might need a slight adjustnt.
"That sounds good! But this Cheongsam Association seems rather active, are they up to sothing again?"
Feng Fanghua inquired further.
"They plan to hold a large cheongsam show at AM this Christmas. We can go watch together by then."
Qin Mu ntioned.
"Hmm! These won really know how to enjoy life, spending their husbands’ money and flaunting it outside!"
Feng Fanghua couldn’t help but complain.
"Everyone’s lifestyle is different, but they are my clients now."
Qin Mu responded with a smile.
The mother and daughter-in-law walked downstairs, chatting and laughing. Downstairs, Mu Zihao was sitting alone reading the newspaper, while the old man had long since left for the park with the driver.
"Where’s Dad?"
Feng Fanghua walked over and asked.
"He went to the park, said he wouldn’t be back for breakfast!"
Mu Zihao answered seriously, without even lifting his eyes from the newspaper.
"What’s up with Dad? Is he that hooked on eating outside?"
Feng Fanghua was a bit puzzled.
Qin Mu thought of the old man’s comnt about his belly and chuckled lightly, greeting Mu Zihao as she sat down, "Dad! Morning!"
"Hmm!"
Mu Zihao acknowledged.
"You should talk to him, it’s fine for a group of old n to take walks, but he really should have breakfast at ho. The als here are prepared for his health, they’re not the sa as the food outside."
Feng Fanghua continued to nag.
"He ate one al outside yesterday, today’s the second, what’s the big deal? He’ll co back once he’s had enough fun outside."
Mu Zihao said, looking slightly awkward, keeping the newspaper in front of him.
Qin Mu watched from the side, having so thoughts but not voicing them imdiately.
"You two are quite a pair, aren’t you the one who always says to be tolerant with Dad? So why are you butting heads now?"
Feng Fanghua eyed her husband, knowing exactly what’s going on.
"Can you bla ? I just made a casual remark, and he took it seriously!"
If it wasn’t for the old man being so old, Mu Zihao would surely think he’s going through nopause. Feeling a bit troubled, he considered apologizing to the old man when the ti was right.
The old man had left the house in the morning, snorting at him as he walked by, and then raised his voice deliberately when talking to the butler. At the ti, Mu Zihao had no place for his face to hide, and thus the two were at odds.
"Grandpa does care about his health after all, I told him I’d help him lose that belly within two months."
Qin Mu chid in at this mont.
The couple looked at her with wide eyes, as if they’d heard sothing unbelievable.
Qin Mu straightened her slender waist a bit, blushing, "Actually, getting your belly flat is quite simple. Just stick to exercising and eat a bit less at night, it’ll be quick."
Qin Mu explained patiently, even though the two pairs of eyes looked at her not too kindly.
"You need to understand your grandpa’s health situation; he can manage so Tai Chi or leisure activities. Doing anything too intense isn’t sothing his body can handle."
Mu Zihao lowered his voice, knowing not to be too harsh when talking to his daughter-in-law.
