"I know!"
Qin Mu nodded. When it ca to ab work, Qin Mu felt she had a lot to say; after all, her abs looked just as good as before.
"Don’t you understand anything? If your grandfather believes you, what will you do when it backfires on you?"
Feng Fanghua sighed helplessly. Although it sounded like she was scolding her, she was actually just using a scolding tone to remind her not to give her grandfather too much hope.
Qin Mu chuckled, feeling a little shy.
"Just wait and see. I promise grandpa’s health will be better than before, both in terms of fitness and physique."
Qin Mu’s voice was gentle, but her tone was firm.
After all, grandpa only indulged a bit in the past few months, and didn’t move much.
"I need to find so ti to apologize to the old man, don’t I?"
Mu Zihao looked at the way Feng Fanghua and Qin Mu were acting, put the newspaper aside, pressed one hand on his leg, leaned forward slightly, and asked his wife and daughter-in-law.
"Yes!"
Feng Fanghua agreed seriously.
Qin Mu nodded repeatedly, indicating it was indeed necessary.
When issues arise among the elders, they, the younger ones, really have little to say and can only express themselves indirectly.
"Sigh! I didn’t think much yesterday and just let slip with that one sentence. Ah! I truly regret it!"
As Mu Zihao spoke, he bowed his head, regretting more and more as he thought about it.
When Qin Mu went to the studio in the morning, she deliberately walked the road through the park, looked inside from across the street as she passed by the entrance, and saw a few old n holding swords walking out, chatting about sothing that seed quite interesting.
Qin Mu suddenly thought that grandpa might not genuinely be angry with dad.
After all, grandpa had gone through so much and was a magnanimous person towards them, the younger ones.
Qin Mu drove to the studio, parked the car, and had just gotten out when Li Yu’s car arrived.
Standing by the car, Qin Mu watched as he parked and got out, staring straight at him. The blue dress he wore was the one he had co to her to design the first ti. It was also the dress he wore the first ti he won an award. It’s said that celebrities have a sort of trust in the dresses they wore when they won their first award. Qin Mu thought that perhaps Li Yu also believed that the dress could bring him good luck.
"I haven’t seen your sister recently, nor have I contacted her!"
Qin Mu reflexively told him.
"I know where she is, but as I was just about to leave town for an award ceremony, I realized a button ca off my jacket, so I ca here to see if there’s a match?"
Li Yu walked over, placing his hands on his hips, sighing in exasperation.
Qin Mu looked at his frowning face, concerned, then glanced at his button.
"Wei Lan should have one, I’ll go with you to check!"
As Qin Mu spoke, she walked ahead, while Li Yu turned and followed her inside.
Eventually, the designer finally found the button, joking that they had planned to keep it as a nto.
Li Yu took off his suit and let soone sew the button on, then leaned against the table while standing with Qin Mu.
"She rented a small apartnt by herself. When I went to visit, I saw that kid helping her move furniture."
He suddenly said, hands in his pockets, head down, lost in thought.
"Are you scared?"
Qin Mu looked up at him, her calm gaze piercing through to his inner thoughts.
"What?"
Li Yu looked up at her, asking.
"They’re sleeping together, right? Usually, if you like soone, you wouldn’t want her sleeping with soone else, even if you haven’t openly confessed your love."
Qin Mu thought of the ti with Mu Yichen, and how she had been terrified of him having sothing going on with Jing Qing.
Li Yu was silent for a while after hearing, then smiled bitterly: "What right do I have to stop it? For all I know, they could have been together long ago."
"Since you haven’t remained chaste for her, to be honest, I wouldn’t be surprised if sothing happened with that guy who’s wholeheartedly devoted to her, but if it can be avoided, why let sothing you dislike happen?"
Qin Mu also leaned on the colleague’s desk, gently folding her arms.
Li Yu raised his eyes to look at her, silent.
"Honestly, when I was studying in Paris and Mu Yichen returned to China, a big reason I resisted him was because I was afraid he had already had relations with Jing Qing. The many uncertainties made afraid to accept that love, not just because of my parents’ relationship. Later, I often thought, if I had another chance, I definitely wouldn’t be so timid. Even if I wasn’t completely sure, I would cling to him so he couldn’t get entangled with other won."
