"And one more thing!"
Mu Yichen suddenly spoke again, with a certain purpose.
Qin Mu looked up at him, her eyes too calm and unruffled, with a hint of indifference.
"She asked to help her investigate the matter from a few days ago."
Mu Yichen explained to her, as if he was reporting.
Qin Mu, however, felt he had another motive, and after listening, she lowered her eyes and said faintly, "Hmm!"
"I told her to ask Zhao Huai for help."
Mu Yichen said again.
Qin Mu glanced at him before turning around, watching the numbers descending on the elevator, suddenly feeling the elevator was quite heavy.
When it reached the third floor, Qin Mu breathed a sigh of relief, thinking she could finally leave, but then she was suddenly grabbed.
His left hand wasn’t strong, but his right hand was quite nimble, and with a quick maneuver, he grabbed her arm and gently pulled her in front of him.
Qin Mu hadn’t had ti to react, only felt a pain in her chest, then everything went blurry.
Mu Yichen’s thin lips suddenly sealed hers, his right hand clasped tightly at the back of her head.
Qin Mu was kissed by him to the point she almost couldn’t breathe, humming slightly, as the elevator opened...
Mu Yichen did it on purpose, deliberately letting people see them both being affectionate.
Even though no one used his private elevator, the lobby was bustling at quitting ti, and soone seeing the elevator open would invariably glance over, seeing a tall, handso man embracing a woman in a passionate kiss inside.
Of course, everyone was very familiar with these two, but couldn’t help being surprised.
So said their boss and his wife would soon divorce, while others said that the mont they were together, sparks flew and the situation heated up.
Now it seed to be the latter.
Qin Mu was afraid of hurting his wound, so she pushed him away carefully, but when she pushed forcefully, she gasped for breath, glaring at him fiercely, before leaving, stomping away angrily.
Mu Yichen slipped his right hand into his pocket, then casually followed behind her, surrounded by onlookers. He swept them with a cold gaze, deliberately raising his voice: "What are you looking at? Have you never seen your boss and his wife being affectionate?"
Qin Mu walking ahead almost wished she could find a hole to crawl into, never imagining her beloved husband would say anything, in front of his employees, so loudly and boldly.
Inside her was an angry little universe, she was almost unable to resist shouting at him, asking if he was out of his mind.
Mu Yichen knew she wouldn’t argue with him in front of so many people, so he did it on purpose.
Qin Mu thought she shouldn’t have agreed to go upstairs, not understanding why, rembering how much he loved her, and thinking about the burden she placed on his heart, constantly wanting to be a good, compliant woman who pleased him, but...
She was naturally not suited to being a docile wife, she was not the type to ekly endure.
Once in the car, Qin Mu slamd the door shut, sitting in the driver’s seat waiting for him. Mu Yichen didn’t get in for nearly two minutes, purposely standing outside for an additional thirty seconds, as if wanting the whole world to see him getting into his wife’s car.
But as soon as he got in, Qin Mu grabbed his hand without a word, pulling it close and leaned down, biting it.
Mu Yichen...
Qin Mu had enough, then forcefully threw it aside, Mu Yichen grimaced, glaring at her intensely, yet refrained from saying a word to her.
Afraid that if he spoke, she might burst into tears.
After all, it was his idea to make a spectacle, without consulting her.
Of course, there was no need to discuss such a matter, as discussing it would only lead to refusal, he could only proceed this way.
He just wanted the entire company to know that he loved his wife the most, so what?
Besides, Qin Mu clearly felt the sa.
But he forgot, Qin Mu disliked letting others know they were in love in this manner.
"Uhm..."
"Don’t talk to !"
"Uhm..."
"Shut up!"
On the road, twice Mu Yichen tried to speak to her, to cool her anger, but she ruthlessly rejected him both tis.
Later, Mu Yichen gave up, thinking that once they got ho, she couldn’t do much in front of the elders, and she also had to be careful the kids didn’t hurt his wounds.
That night, Qin Mu felt she was about to break down, on one hand stopping Huanhuan and Chengcheng from pouncing on him, pulling at his wound, on the other worrying she’d overdo it, revealing his injury to the elders.
So when they returned to their room after ten, she turned to the man standing against the door waiting for her to erupt, and complained.
