Now reading: Chapter 851 - 240: Casting! Ian’s Peculiarity! (2) from Hogwarts: Bloodline Legend, a Fantasy novel by The moonlight is so beautiful..

"Great!"

"Ian should definitely duel the professor!"

"This will be a duel between super wizards! It’s bound to be exciting!"

The classroom imdiately echoed with voices of agreent.

Needless to say, the image of Lockhart, as managed by Grindelwald, holds a significant weight in the hearts of Hogwarts students these days, with voices even suggesting that he might surpass Dumbledore in the future.

Such is the image.

For students to think Ian can spar with "Lockhart" clearly shows how much they trust Ian’s strength.

" against... the professor?" Ian looked at Aurora and found that her azure eyes were radiating curiosity and challenge.

He suddenly understood sothing.

"Alright then."

Ian stared at the friend in front of him, who, despite putting on soone else’s face, still quietly retained her pride. This wasn’t the sa Aurora he first t.

Nowadays.

The gap between them could be said to be enormous. Yet Ian, being the considerate person he is, certainly wouldn’t rcilessly beat up a girl. He pondered that if he could make Aurora cry, it would show his high emotional intelligence.

"Are you reluctant?"

Aurora’s gaze focused on him.

"Of course, I’m delighted." Ian’s magic wand twirled skillfully between his fingers, eliciting gasps of awe from a few younger female students. The trick, learned from Riddle, indeed had its charm in the realm of showing off.

The two walked to the center of the classroom and stood facing each other. The surrounding students automatically ford a circle, their faces filled with anticipation, watching them intently — as Aurora gently drew out her magic wand, both bowed to each other, and a scene reminiscent of a wizard duel quietly unfolded.

"You’re the professor, why don’t you cast the first spell and guide a bit?" Ian offered, and Aurora didn’t refuse. She raised her wand and cast a silent spell.

Instantly.

A venomous snake, flickering with a cold light, shot forth from the tip of her wand.

The snake was a good two feet long, its scales shimring coldly in the sunlight, and its bright red tongue darted quickly, making a creepy "hiss" sound.

It was clear.

The snake Aurora summoned was a real poisonous snake, and it was swift, not only possessing venom but also rapid movent. The mont it touched the ground, it arched its body and launched at Ian with astonishing speed.

Heading straight for Ian’s face.

"Oh my! That snake is huge!"

"I’ve got goosebumps all over!"

"It looks so poisonous!"

The watching students took a deep breath. Qiu Zhang covered her mouth, Michael instinctively took half a step back — the snake looked much fiercer than they had imagined.

"Hmm?"

Seeing this, Ian remained unperturbed.

Perhaps in the eyes of the little wizards, the snake was fast, but to his now non-human eyes, the snake could use a bit more gym ti.

"Expelliarmus!"

The little wizard’s voice was loud, and the spell was spoken firmly. A red gleam shot from his wand tip, striking the snake like lightning.

The next mont.

Surprisingly, the snake didn’t get knocked back. The venomous snake quivered violently in mid-air, its entire body then dropped lifelessly to the ground like a puppet with severed strings.

Completely silent.

The surrounding little wizards were dumbfounded.

The classroom fell silent for a few seconds.

Then erupted into enthusiastic applause and praise.

"Amazing!"

"He solved it in one move!"

"Ian the young professor is truly impressive! I want to learn this magic too!"

...

The little wizards looked at Ian with admiration, and those who didn’t understand were awestruck. Only Aurora had an expression of wanting to speak but stopping, her mind full of questions.

It’s not because the girl can’t accept defeat.

If Ian had simply used the Disarming Spell to remove her wand, she would have been at peace; after all, she knew very well that Ian had already surpassed her greatly.

This was apparent from the way her grandfather spoke about Ian. In fact, Aurora was prepared to lose, but she hadn’t expected the young wizard to be so cheeky.

Expelliarmus?

That’s clearly Avada Kedavra!

Did he think changing the color would make it unrecognizable? Well, it seed like the students indeed didn’t recognize it, none of them felt confused, and at this mont, the German girl felt as if a thousand Ians were stampeding across her mind.

"Mr. Ian Prince!" Aurora hesitated a few tis but couldn’t hold back, finally raising her voice, "Please rember, we’re studying Defense Techniques!"

Her voice was heavily enunciated, clearly hinting at Ian.

Yet.

The naive girl still underestimated the young wizard’s shalessness.

"Indeed, this is a defense technique. See, your ’weapon’ has been thoroughly eliminated." Ian pointed with his wand at the dead snake on the floor.

Upon hearing such an explanation, the students found Ian’s words sensible and gained a preliminary understanding of the Expelliarmus spell.

"..."

Aurora glanced around at the excited students.

She felt as though Ian might lead the students astray.

"Your turn!"

She glared at Ian with irritation, ultimately choosing not to argue, resignedly sighed, and moved back to her starting position for the duel.
