On the pristine parchnt, a feathered pen wobbled a few tis, then steadied itself.
Vid stared at it intently, his fingers moving unconsciously, only to be gently tapped by Professor Morry with a Magic Wand.
"Don’t use Magic, Vid," Professor Morry said with a smile. "You must control it with your mind."
Vid took a deep breath, his eyes fixed on the Quill, his brow slightly furrowing.
After a few seconds, the Quill finally began to move, scrawling a few crooked characters on the paper—
[ntis Imperio].
"Spirit Control?" Professor Morry touched his chin and said, "That’s actually a good na—quite different from the nas you’ve chosen before."
Vid glanced at him helplessly.
Just then, the Quill seed to lose all strength and tumbled onto the parchnt with a plop.
"A bit difficult, isn’t it?" Professor Morry pushed a cup of hot chocolate to Vid and said, "Have a cup, it will make you feel much better."

Professor Morry casually rested his hands on his belly and laughed, "In the Magic World, knowledge beyond our understanding always exists."

"Pen of Acceptance?" Vid asked.
"Yes," Professor Morry responded, "it can detect children with magical talent and automatically write the child’s na in the Book of Admission—including you, Vid."
Professor Morry pointed at Vid and smiled, "This Pen’s sensing range covers all of the British Isles and can detect even the faintest Magic Fluctuation, accurately identifying it even if the child’s parents haven’t noticed."
"So children are written into Hogwarts’ admission list upon birth; others display potential around age eleven. Regardless, the Pen of Acceptance ensures no child with magical talent is overlooked."
