"Faster!" Shadow shouted, her voice sharp over the grinding tal.

Bulwark strained, his muscles bulging as he forced a lever into position. The gears slowed montarily before accelerating again. "This thing’s not stopping!" he growled.

Shadow’s sniper-trained eyes darted to a small panel hidden among the machinery. "There!" she pointed. "We have to hit the core. It’s the only way to reset the chanism."

Bulwark pulled a grenade from his belt, grinning despite the chaos. "You sure about this?"

"Do it," Shadow confird, already positioning herself for cover.

The explosion rocked the chamber, and the gears ground to a halt. As the dust settled, a door slid open, revealing another staircase leading deeper into the labyrinth.

Viper, anwhile, found herself in a hauntingly silent corridor. The path ahead was lined with grotesque statues, their hollow eyes following her every move. She approached cautiously, her combat knife glinting in the faint light.
