"This doesn't belong underground," Shadow muttered, her sniper's instincts kicking in. She scanned every corner, her rifle steady, searching for hidden dangers.
"It's almost like... soone lives here," Ghost added, stepping toward the bed. His fingers trailed along the cold iron fra, and he crouched to inspect the base. "No dust. It's been used recently."
"Which ans soone knows we're here," Rook growled. He gestured for the team to spread out and search.
Viper approached a side table where an old leather-bound journal rested beneath a brass lamp. The journal's cover bore the image of a wolf with piercing eyes. She opened it, flipping through pages of cryptic handwriting and diagrams.
"This is written in ancient Runic," she said, her brow furrowing. "I can't make sense of it, but these diagrams... they're layouts of this place. And sothing deeper beneath us."
Bulwark, who had been examining the locked wardrobe, gave the iron handle a tug. It wouldn't budge. "This thing's not opening without a key or explosives. Probably hiding sothing important."

"Trap," Shadow hissed, spinning toward the sound.
