The oppressive quiet of the chamber settled over the team as the final echoes of the keeper's voice faded. Before anyone could act, the sconces flared brighter, and the sigil glowed with an eerie blue light. The temperature in the room plumted, and a deep, guttural voice resonated from the walls.
"Prove your worth, intruders. Only the brave may claim the secrets of the chamber."
Rook raised a fist, signaling silence. "We've been here before. Stick together and solve this fast."
The team spread out, searching the room for clues. Viper examined the sigil while Shadow focused on a dusty bookshelf near the bed. Ghost moved toward a chest in the corner, its iron hinges rusted but intact.

He placed the sphere into the indentation at the center of the sigil. The room shuddered as the runes on the walls and bed flared to life. The stone beneath their feet began to shift, revealing a hidden staircase spiraling downward.
"Looks like we've got our way forward," Rook said, leading the charge.
But as they descended, the air grew colder, and a faint, malevolent laugh echoed from the depths below. Whatever awaited them wasn't going to make this easy.
