"Obito, congratulations on awakening your Sharingan! You're treating us to barbecue today," Yuzuru said with a teasing grin.

Obito blinked, then clutched his wallet protectively. "But I need that money!"

Yuzuru flicked a finger against his forehead. "And who doesn't?"

"The last mission paid you plenty—you should still have so left."

Kakashi chuckled. "Don't push him too hard, Yuzuru-senpai. He spent it all buying gifts for an old granny."

Yuzuru's expression froze. "Ah. I see… can't really judge that one."

When Yuzuru didn't insist further, Obito quickly changed the topic. "Yuzuru, I'm challenging Kakashi to a duel today! I want you to be the witness."

Yuzuru looked puzzled. "You two fighting again? Why do you even need a witness for that?"

Obito frowned. "My strength has skyrocketed lately! This ti, I'm going to beat Kakashi for sure!"

Kakashi added, "Yuzuru-senpai, we plan to go all out. If you're here, you can stop things if they get out of hand."

Seeing their eager faces, Yuzuru nodded. "Fine by ."

The three arrived at a quiet training ground, and Yuzuru sat down at the edge.

Obito adjusted his goggles and grinned. "Kakashi, this ti you'll know what it feels like to lose."

Kakashi kept his hands in his pockets. "If that's your attitude, you'll be disappointed again."

Seeing that both were ready, Yuzuru raised his hand and chopped the air. "Begin!"

In an instant, Kakashi and Obito charged forward.

Obito shouted indignantly, "Kakashi, that was a dirty trick! You used a clone! I demand a rematch tomorrow!"

Yuzuru smiled, satisfied. "Good. Keep it up. Soday, you'll surpass him."

With that, he vanished from sight.

Once he was gone, Kakashi tilted his head. "What did Yuzuru-senpai say to you? You've been improving at a ridiculous pace—don't tell you've been secretly training under him?"

Obito sighed dramatically. "Kakashi… if only you were a girl."

"What's that supposed to an?"

"If you were, you could marry —and then you'd get to enjoy this kind of rapid growth too."

Kakashi stiffened, took several steps back, and said gravely, "Obito, if you ever betray one day, please… at least use a knife."

Then he bolted from the training field.
