However, this ti, Yun Feng was prepared. He drew upon all of his strength from every inch of his body and swung his sword with everything he had.

"Cutting Earth, Severing Heaven!" Yun Feng shouted as he unleashed the technique.

Like a blade descend from heaven, the sword slash

was filled with destructive power. Red and black qi, dense with annihilating force, surged toward Young Master Song.

Seeing this, Young Master Song imdiately thrust his palm strike toward the incoming blade, hoping that his palm strike would stop it.

Boom!

It was useless... the sword strike continued rushing forward, leaving him no ti to evade.

Boom!

The blade collided, and the destructive qi exploded outward. At that mont, an old man with a fierce, rugged beard appeared and caught the sword strike with his bare hand. He looked at Yun Feng as if he were already a corpse.

Young Master Song let out a sigh of relief and then looked toward the fierce old man.

"Thank you, Dao Protector Zhao, for your assistance," Young Master Song said as he cupped his fist.

Yun Feng was alard. This man was an expert. If it were only Young Master Song, Yun Feng might have had a chance to defeat him through preparation, surprise, and by using everything he had. However, this man was a completely different matter.

No matter what, Yun Feng knew he could not win against him at all.

Yun Feng gritted his teeth. He tried to pull his sword back, but it was stuck in the old man’s iron grip, as if clamped down by a massive pair of pliers.

The fierce old man increased the strength in his hand, intending to crush the large black sword. However, he was surprised. He had already used eighty percent of his strength, yet the sword showed no sign of strain.

It did not bend, nor did it show any damage.

"Hmmm. Good sword!" the fierce old man nodded with a smile. He had never expected to obtain such a fine treasure today.

The fierce old man pulled the sword toward himself, but it was as if a steel rod connected the blade to Yun Feng’s arm. Yun Feng’s hand remained tightly gripping the handle, refusing to let go even as his body was dragged forward along with the sword.

"Release the blade!" the fierce old man commanded.

"Heh. Never!" Yun Feng replied with a fearless smile. Even though he could not win and this might be the last sentence of his life, he would not back down.

"Fine!" the fierce old man said in annoyance. His other hand ford into a palm strike, which shot toward Yun Feng.

The onlookers all closed their eyes. A life of a genius was about to be snuffed out before them because this genius did not understand the imnsity of heaven and earth.

Suddenly, a powerful dark qi erupted from Yun Feng, and he forcefully pulled the sword back.

"What?" The fierce old man exclaid as his hand was cut. Blood flowed as the sword slipped free from his iron grip.

Yun Feng retreated and maintained a safe distance. He slowly straightened his body, lifted the large black sword with his left arm, and rested it on his shoulder as if it were nothing more than a weightless twig.

{Foolish disciple, you truly are good at causing trouble for my old bones,} the master within the ring said inside his mind. He had just erged from the ring and used Yun Feng’s body to save him from the fierce old man.

{Thank you, Master. But please, this ti give my body back and do not use it to flirt with other people. I am the one who has to clean up the ss afterward,} Yun Feng replied timidly.

This was not the first ti his master had taken over his body. Every ti it happened, the master would use it to drink, flirt with beauties, beat people up, or even visit consorts in red-light districts.

He was the very definition of a playboy who enjoyed nightlife, and it caused Yun Feng more than his fair share of trouble.

{Hahaha, do not worry. You are a man. Live like a man. Do not be gloomy and keep thinking about that childhood sweetheart of yours all the ti,} the master said with a laugh.

{Sigh. Master, please restrain yourself a little this ti. I do not want to beco a refugee with no city willing to accept ,} Yun Feng said tiredly.

{Shut up, foolish disciple. This is the price for helping you. Stop whining already,} the master retorted. He stepped forward and smiled defiantly at the fierce old man surnad Zhao.

"Oi! Are you the Dao Protector of this trash?" the master said disdainfully while using Yun Feng’s body, directing his gaze toward Young Master Song.

"You!" Young Master Song pointed toward the master who was using Yun Feng’s body.

"Who are you?" Dao Protector Zhao asked. He could clearly sense that the man in front of him had changed completely. Both his personality and his strength were utterly different.

Before, this one-ard man had been like an ant. Now, this sa one-ard man could easily contend with him to a draw.

"A dead man does not need to know too much," the master said defiantly before his body vanished.

Seeing this, Dao Protector Zhao was alard. This speed was far beyond what a trash Half-Step Core Formation cultivator could achieve.

"Even though I am weaker than I was at my peak, my strength is still enough to crush you easily," the master said as he slashed downward.

Dao Protector Zhao hurriedly defended himself, but the sword descending this ti was not sothing he could block head-on.

With no other choice, Dao Protector Zhao retreated, but the descending blade still carved a wound across his face.

Seeing this, the master smirked and clapped his hands in mockery.

"Bravo, bravo. You are very fast, fast enough to keep your life, but not fast enough to avoid my sword unscathed," the master said provocatively.

"Courting death!" Dao Protector Zhao’s anger reached its peak as he charged straight toward the master, who was smirking provocatively.

A clash between experts began, with the master using Yun Feng’s body to fight against Dao Protector Zhao. Blades, fists, and palm strikes collided in rapid succession, sparks flashing every ti the sword t flesh.

Dao Protector Zhao gritted his teeth. This blade had to be at least a Heaven-grade artifact. Otherwise, it would have already shattered under the barrage of his fists and palm strikes. After all, he was a body-refining cultivator.

As ti passed, Dao Protector Zhao’s expression grew darker and darker. This was a trendous loss of face. He could not end this junior in a short ti. At this point, he no longer cared about the sword. He retreated and unsealed all of his power.

Boom!

Muscles expanded across his body as his robe tore apart from the sudden swelling. Dao Protector Zhao’s muscles and skin turned black, no different from the black iron used to forge the naless large blade the master wielded.

"Oh? You are finally going all out. This is interesting!" the master said fearlessly before charging toward Dao Protector Zhao.

Dao Protector Zhao received the blade with both arms, crossing them to block the strike.

Clank!

The large sword collided with his arms, and the sound of tal crashing echoed through the area. If one only heard the sound, no one would believe that this was a clash between flesh and blade.

Dao Protector Zhao felt a sharp pain surge through his arms. His iron skin had been split open by the sword.

"You... You are using a forbidden technique that temporarily increases your cultivation, but the backlash caused you to develop a second personality, did it not?" Dao Protector Zhao asked. He had experience fighting soone like this before.

"Maybe, maybe not. Who knows?" the master replied with a smirk before retreating out of Dao Protector Zhao’s range.

The reason the master retreated was because he had overdrawn the body’s power too much. Yun Feng’s body had begun to suffer backlash. If he could not finish the fight soon while maintaining the right level of intensity, Yun Feng might die from overexertion.

Dao Protector Zhao noticed the retreat and quickly realized that the master’s breathing was ragged and uneven. This state had clearly overdrawn his energy, and exhaustion had set in.

With this realization, Dao Protector Zhao smirked. He knew how to end this.

He rushed toward the master with his arm pulled back, preparing to unleash a full-power punch. The master imdiately dodged.

Boom!

The force of the punch slamd into the pagoda gate. Aside from shaking slightly, the pagoda showed no sign of damage.

"Truly a divine artifact," Young Master Song said in awe as he gazed at the pagoda.

At this mont, the pagoda gate opened, and Wei Chen walked out while grumbling. His face showed clear annoyance, as if soone had just woken him up early in the morning.

"Who the f*ck is shaking my pagoda?" Wei Chen asked as he looked around the area.
