It was a dark sky full of Stars. After leaving Grand Sky City, Lu Ye headed in a particular direction. It wasn’t until he moved across 300 kilotres that he landed in a desolate area.

Since Tang Yi Feng had brought the Dragon Throne to him, Lu Ye naturally had to get used to its power. Although he had taken the Dragon Throne from Soaring Dragon Boundary, it wasn’t a local item. He had no idea where it ca from either.

Yun Xuechu said it was of such fine quality that no Jiu Zhou cultivator was able to repair it. As such, it seed that the Dragon Throne was also much greater than any Spirit Treasure.

However, this thing was unlike anything he had seen before. Given his cultivation, he was unable to activate the power of a treasure greater than a Spirit Treasure, but he had used the Dragon Throne once in Soaring Dragon Boundary.

Coupled with Dragon Spine Saber, he was able to destroy the altar that the Blood Race had painstakingly built. The Blood River was ruined, and the attack even struck right into the Heavenly Gully.

Certainly, he had paid a huge price for that. The attack alone almost drained all of his energy.

The power of the attack didn’t co from him only. At that ti, he had the blessing of the world. The entire Soaring Dragon Boundary was his support system. Although he was the one who cast the attack, he had made use of the Soaring Dragon Boundary’s power and launched the attack through the Dragon Throne. That was why the attack was so destructive.

If it was in a different setting, Lu Ye would never have been able to cast such a horrifying attack even though he was now a Third-Order Real Lake Realm Master.

It could be said that the attack was the most powerful one he had ever cast. He suspected that even if he ascended to the Divine Ocean Realm one day, he still couldn’t launch a similar attack using his power.

The ensuing events needed no retelling. He was on his last legs, and it was thanks to the help of the Soaring Dragon Boundary’s Source that his life was saved. His cultivation aptitude was also fundantally changed. What was more, he could look into the Soaring Dragon Boundary’s Source.

Naturally, Lu Ye was looking forward to witnessing the Dragon Throne’s power. However, Yun Xuechu said that she had only done so basic repairs, so no one knew how much of the Dragon Throne’s power could be activated.

That was why Lu Ye wanted to give it a try. This was a remote and desolate area. The silent night was also a good ti to give it a shot.

He fished out the Dragon Throne from the Storage Bag. It was a scarlet ball the size of a baby’s skull. The surface was covered with scales, which were supposed to be real Dragon Scales.

He wasn’t in a hurry to activate its power, though. Before that, he gulped down a lot of Spirit Pills and consud a drop of Soul Cleansing Water to get prepared.

From his previous experience, he knew that there was a huge price to pay for using the Dragon Throne. Although the Dragon Throne was probably weaker now and the price he had to pay was smaller, he had to be cautious.

He took a deep breath and infused his Spiritual Power into the ball before drawing the power out of it using his aura.

Cracks were heard as the ball fell apart and turned into countless pieces of scales. Drawn by Lu Ye’s aura, these scales attached themselves to his body as though they had a spirituality of their own.

Explosive sounds were continuously heard as the scales covered his figure. Soon enough, a scarlet figure appeared in the spot where Lu Ye had stood.

The scarlet figure was around ten tres tall and quite slender. The fluid contour made the figure look like it was made by the Heavens.

A grunt was heard coming from the scarlet figure. Inside the Dragon Throne, Lu Ye furrowed his brows.

Just like the previous ti, the mont he put on the Dragon Throne, he went through so excruciating pain. It was a real pain, not an illusion.

Inside the Dragon Throne, there seed to be countless small spikes that jabbed right into his body. Although he had a robust body, he still found it unbearable.

When he activated the Dragon Throne in the past, he was only a Sixth-Order Cloud River Realm Master, so he wasn’t aware of many things. Now that he was a Third-Order Real Lake Realm Master with his own Divine Ego, he sensed what was going on and finally realised sothing.

The things that jabbed into his body weren’t spikes. They weren’t even tangible. As for what they were, he had no idea.

Moreover, this kind of pain didn’t only affect his body. Even his Divine Soul was trembling slightly. The Soul Cleansing Water took effect and alleviated the pain in his Divine Soul.

He could feel that the Dragon Throne was hungrily absorbing everything from his body, including his Spiritual Power, strength, and even Soul Power.

As that happened, his heritage was leaving his body fast. Fortunately, he was relieved to find that the absorption was much gentler than the previous ti.

The last ti he used the Dragon Throne, he was unable to stop his heritage from leaving his body, and it was a terrifying feeling. That was the fundantal reason that he was drained of all his energy. Although he had the blessing of the world and the entire Soaring Dragon Boundary as his support system, he, as the user of the Dragon Throne, still had to pay a massive price.

Even though his heritage was also leaving him quickly this ti, it was at an acceptable speed. In that case, as long as he took off the Dragon Throne in ti, his foundation wouldn’t be affected.

His mind was elevated, and the entire world looked different to him. Different colours flowed around him. Those were the colours of World Spiritual Qi. Usually, he could only see those colours by blessing his eyes with Insight. Everything around him seed to be moving more slowly too.

Amber and Yi Yi were amazed as they looked at him from a distance. They could see that there were almost no changes to the Dragon Throne’s appearance, but there were complicated patterns on the surface as they ran from the face, the neck, the chest, the arms, the back, and down to the feet.

The entire thing looked like a wild totem. It was Yun Xuechu’s doing as she had engraved so Glyphs on the Dragon Throne’s surface.

The scarlet figure was standing straight as his eyes radiated a red glow. Coupled with the wild totem, he gave off a tyrannical vibe. It was as though he intended to destroy everything in this world.

Lu Ye silently felt the Dragon Throne. Unlike the previous ti, the Dragon Throne’s absorption of his power had weakened. Although this was good news, the power he could use would probably be affected too.

Then, he fished out the Dragon Spine Saber from the Storage Bag. It was a five-tre-long saber that looked like it was made from blood. The blade wasn’t flat as there was a bump every 30 centitres. They looked just like slubs. A red glow flowed around the blade, making it look like the weapon could breathe on its own.

With the weapon in Lu Ye’s hands, he exuded a ferocious aura. Although they knew Lu Ye wouldn’t harm them, Amber still trembled uncontrollably while Yi Yi felt cold all over her body.

It was a ten-tre-tall figure holding a five-tre-long weapon. As Lu Ye wielded the saber, everything within a radius of 90 tres around him was destroyed.

Amber and Yi Yi had moved across a kilotre before the saber phantoms even appeared. From afar, they could see the colossal figure who was wielding his saber. As that happened, the glow radiating from his eyes ford two streaks of red light under the night sky.

It wasn’t until an hour later that Lu Ye stopped wielding his saber and stood still. The area within a radius of 300 tres around him was a ss.

As explosive sounds were heard, the Dragon Throne was taken off and turned back into a ball the size of a baby’s skull. Lu Ye’s face was slightly pale as his entire figure was soaked in sweat.

He had almost used up his energy in just an hour, which showed how energy-consuming the Dragon Throne was. Although its power had weakened and it wouldn’t cost the user as much energy, it still couldn’t be in use for a long ti.

Regardless, Lu Ye had one more treasure that he could use against powerful enemies. Following the attempt, he had figured out how useful the Dragon Throne was to him. That said, he couldn’t show it to anyone. Only when his life was at risk would he use it.

All in all, he was satisfied with the Dragon Throne as it was much better than it was in the past. Even though the previous version of the Dragon Throne was powerful, it would leave behind strong repercussions, and it wasn’t suitable for the current him either.

Now, as long as he used the Dragon Throne appropriately, he wouldn’t be left with any repercussions. Yun Xuechu must’ve put in a lot of effort when repairing the treasure.

Lu Ye then beckoned to Yi Yi and Amber before bringing them back to Grand Sky City. When he returned to Tang Yi Feng’s residence, he entered a random room and adjusted his breathing.

He was reinvigorated the next day. Soon enough, he received a ssage from Qian Wudang telling him to go to the Ministry of Laws.

He had no idea what the latter was up to. Since he was his subordinate now, he had to obey his orders.

After leaving the courtyard, he headed straight to the Ministry of Laws. Soon, he saw Qian Wudang and said, “Sir.”

“Alright.” Qian Wudang nodded and extended his hand. “Have a seat.”

Lu Ye then sat down across from him. There was a table between them. “Is there anything you need to tell , Sir?”

“The thing is…” Qian Wudang seed to be in a dilemma as though he was facing a thorny issue. “Didn’t I say that I’d let you join Team A3?”

“Have things changed?” Lu Ye asked.

“Yes.” Qian Wudang nodded. “Team A3 has no vacancy left. As you know, a law enforcent team usually consists of six people so that they can easily use Six Elental Spirit Locks. With six people in a team, they can look after each other. If there are too few people, they’ll have a hard ti carrying out tasks. However, too many people would be a waste of manpower. As such, you probably can’t go to Team A3.”

“In that case, I can go to another team.” Lu Ye wasn’t fussy about it. Since he couldn’t join Team A3, he could go to another team. As a mber of the Ministry of Laws, he had to obey Qian Wudang’s orders. There was no room for him to be picky, and he wasn’t that kind of person.

“Well… the other teams don’t lack mbers as well.” Qian Wudang rubbed his glabella.

Lu Ye squinted his eyes. “What do you an, Sir? Please make it clear to .”

If Qian Wudang was facing so pressure and no longer willing to accept him into the Ministry of Laws, Lu Ye was fine with it. After all, Tang Yi Feng was in Grand Sky City now, so Lu Ye wasn’t worried about having nowhere to go. He could just go to another Pass, and it wasn’t necessarily a bad thing.
