Lu Hongming took a deep breath and shakily pulled out his phone, but just as he was about to unlock the screen, a steel nail suddenly shot from sowhere, pierced the phone screen and his palm, pinning both to the dining table.

"Don’t kill ! Please don’t kill ! I was forced into this!" Lu Hongming scread, tearing his heart out, "I never wanted to retaliate against you! Believe ! Really! It was all because of that letter! That letter! If I don’t do what it says, my life... my family... it’ll all be over!"
"You followed the letter’s instructions, and what now?" Sun Hang eyed him playfully, "Isn’t your family going to be finished as well?"
"No... please... it’s not... please! I’ll do anything you want!"
"Really? Then go turn yourself in." Sun Hang laughed, "But before that, sign a property transfer agreent, transferring all your money and assets to . How about that?"
Lu Hongming froze, a hint of hesitation flickered in his eyes.
"You’ve got to be kidding... facing death, yet you’re still craving for such worldly possessions?" Sun Hang said in surprise.
"No... no, I’m willing! I’m willing to give you all my property; just spare my family!" Lu Hongming knelt down, continuously bowing his head to Sun Hang.
"Too late." Sun Hang shook his head, "If you had agreed imdiately, I might have given you a chance, but you hesitated... how does the saying go, ’He who hesitates is lost’... opportunities are always fleeting, you understand what I an?"
"I was wrong, I really know I was wrong!" Lu Hongming cried, tears streaming down his face, "Please, give another chance!"
"I already gave you a chance, but you didn’t seize it." Sun Hang drew out a handgun and pointed it at the trembling Lu Hongming like a leaf in the wind, "When you had your son put that thing in my car, did you think about giving a chance?"
Sun Hang never intended to spare Lu Hongming from the beginning.
He didn’t truly know he was wrong, he just knew he was really about to die.
Sun Hang forgot where he had seen this saying before, but looking back now, it was damn classic.

Amidst Lu Hongming’s howl, Sun Hang pulled the trigger.

A dry smashing sound ca from the chamber, and Lu Hongming’s head didn’t burst open like a waterlon hitting the ground.
"Oh, sorry." Sun Hang smiled at Lu Hongming, whose face was ashen and features frozen, "I forgot, this gun ran out of bullets."

His face and clothes were also stained with lots of blood, so Sun Hang simply took off his shirt, and then used the mycelium to "weave" a new outfit for himself.
Grasping the handgun again, a liquid tal bullet ford in the chamber, and Sun Hang aid at the head of Lu Hongming’s son, who lay on the ground with an uncertain fate, and pulled the trigger.
