Both had lost their heartbeat and breath, and thick black blood slowly oozed from their nasal passages and ear canals.

"What request?"
"Kill that little follower outside," Anna's tone suddenly turned cold. "I don't like it."
"No discussion."
"Boo hoo... Mama, don't you love Anna anymore? It can absorb negative emotions too, so why do I have to handle all these dirty jobs..." Anna's tone instantly shifted to a sobbing inflection.
"I've never loved you, and I'm not your mom," Sun Hang said coldly. "It's you who keeps clinging onto relentlessly."
"Anna is angry," Anna said, and then her voice completely disappeared.
Sun Hang took one last look at the bodies of the two modified containers, then climbed up the ladder.
The supermarket owner was nowhere to be found, and the petite Xue Yue was huddled beside the stall at the supermarket entrance, cautiously peering inside.
As soon as she saw Sun Hang climbing out from the basent, the tension on her face visibly eased.
"I... I heard gunshots!" Xue Yue said. "Several shots! And a fat man covered in blood just ran out from inside."
