Protheus, always repays vengeance.
This son of the Golden King, in Eastern terms, is soone who avenges the slightest grievance, narrow-minded.
He once hung more than ten people in succession just because a commoner accidentally collided with his carriage, and another ti buried soone alive for insinuating his tyranny, granting that person’s wife and daughter as slaves to the Forbidden Guard. As for other minor deeds, they are too nurous to count, often attracting his severe punishnt for the most trivial of mistakes.
Though Horus holds the Divine Position of vengeance, descendants like Protheus, with such a strong penchant for revenge, are rare.
He would not even wait until the next day to avenge.
Beyond the reputation of tyranny and cruelty, Protheus is also known for his generosity and as an absolute supporter of royal authority and law, albeit he is the one who sets the laws. He is very generous in outward rewards; as long as you can please him, gold, jewels, beauties, power, and so forth, are all available, with the only requirent being that you must submit to him.
Kneel.

Protheus recruited many renowned warriors from the Golden Coast, imdiately granting them rich rewards as long as they submit to him.
When Duncan heard the divine na of Horus, he guessed that the Golden Coast might have so connection to the ancient Egyptian civilization. Ancient Egypt had a very severe tradition of close relative marriage, to the extent that subsequent Pharaohs were more and more deford.
For Pharaohs, marrying daughters was almost commonplace, and internal sibling marriages didn’t count as anything. In pursuit of pure divine nature, their lineage beca incredibly mixed.
In fact, when Duncan first ca to this world, he pondered a question: with the Divine Spirits so casually giving birth, wouldn’t they really create the legendary ’Divine Abomination’?
Now it seems that it’s just a matter of ti.
The Protheus before him showed a hint of transforming into a Divine Abomination, but others, even Divine Spirits, couldn’t see it yet; only the Dinsion Space’s god-like perspective could perceive it all.
On him, there’s a touch of authority and vengeance laws.
Compared to him, what Hegel did in the past wasn’t so excessive. In this age of degeneration, Hegel was still considered a relatively ’normal’ Divine Son.
Hegel actually had a bit of the Nordic God’s shadow, frenzied, belligerent, fond of wine, amorous but not a madman who massacres innocents.
"Submit to !"
"I will pardon your sins!"
Protheus stood on a splendid chariot, draped in golden armor, spear in hand, as if a lofty Pharaoh, the ssenger of the gods. He pointed forward at Duncan and Hegel, and said slowly, "I will grant you wealth, status, beauties; everything you desire can be fulfilled here!"
"As long as you submit to , you will beco my most trusted subordinates!"
"I will rule the Golden Coast with you."
These words were directed towards Duncan and Hegel; as for the other Barbarians, he didn’t care much.
Inside Dinsion Space.
The projection page flickered with a passing prompt ’Detected the domain of royal authority deterrence!...’
A coincidence.
Duncan also possessed royal authority, and it was a very high level of it. Although not yet engraved, royal authority was hardly likely to have much effect on him.
Hegel showed a trace of disdain, spat a thick phlegm, and arrogantly puffed out his chest.
Although Duncan had strengthened Hegel during this ti, essentially he was still the unruly Divine Son. Had it not been for the surrounding Golden Battle Group warriors, his axe would have long been swung, greeting the insolent fellow with a big jump slash.
The Barbarian’s trademark, Jump Slash, Tornado Slash.
The gods secretly sched for them to beco companions, yet the arrogant Protheus aid to ta the Barbarians before him, just like taming a pack of beasts.
No matter how well the script was laid out, it was useless because the actors all had their own ideas. They were Divine Sons, born with Divine Power, harder to control than humans.
Hegel turned his head to glance at the expressionless Duncan, stepping forward, equally arrogant, "Submit to ."
"I will lead you on the quest for glory!"
"Soday, even the Dragon Bone Tomb can engrave your na, letting you live as a true warrior."
The Barbarians’ pursuit differed from others.
They were fond of beauty, but more for physical needs, their spiritual demands didn’t care about wealth and status, yearning for sothing called ’glory’.
Even if falling a bit short, at least die fighting like a man.
The ultimate paradise the Barbarians believed in was the ’Heroic Realm,’ a place only heroes could enter after death.
"Clueless!"
Protheus waved a hand, and the surrounding Golden Battle Group began to form a battle formation, surrounding them. If only Hegel were present, he might confront him, but there was also the enigmatic Duncan beside, whose strength seed no less than Hegel’s from the recent display.
This made him hesitant to act rashly. At least not before severely injuring one of them, Protheus didn’t dare approach, fearing being overwheld by both.
Hegel restrained his rage, turned to glance at Duncan, awaiting his command.
"We can’t win!"
Duncan shook his head slightly, the aning clear enough.
In this situation, the enemy brought their legion; unless the Number One Human Form unleashed unparalleled prowess, fighting a thousand single-handedly, relying solely on the two of them would lead to an exhausting demise here.
This Human Form’s strength was far inferior to the Number One Human Form. They could at best fight fiercely to slay one or two thousand, but would ultimately be trapped in the chaotic army.
