Honest’s exaggerated expression revealed his shock as he stared at Selene, who was effortlessly using three Teigu. This completely defied the long-standing rules of Teigu usage in the Empire! (In his eyes, Selene’s armor was also a Teigu.)
"No need to look so terrified. Teigu don’t enforce a single-use restriction. As long as you have the physical and ntal capacity, it’s entirely possible to wield multiple Teigu simultaneously."
Closing the World Chronicle, Selene glanced at Honest and calmly stated, "Alright, Minister Honest, this is the one I choose."
"But... but you’re using three Teigu at once! Does this an you’re now stronger than that old warhorse, Budo?" Honest caught up to Selene, carefully probing.
"More or less," Selene replied indifferently.
"Oh, well, congratulations on your significant increase in strength, General Selene..." Honest’s enthusiasm grew as he followed closely behind Selene.
He was so caught up in his fawning that he seed to completely forget that, according to the late Emperor’s decree, Selene was only supposed to select one Teigu. Yet, she was leaving with two.
As they passed through the corridor on their way back, Selene noticed another vault on the opposite side and asked, "Why is there another vault here?"
"That vault stores Relic-class items. Are you interested, General Selene?"
"But let remind you, General, Relic-class items are failed attempts at creating Teigu. Their quality and effects are inferior, so I doubt you’d find them appealing..." Honest cautiously advised.
"I see... in that case, forget it. Minister, please select a few and send them to the Eighth Legion’s base." Upon hearing that they were re relics, Selene lost interest imdiately.
"Hahaha... of course, leave it to ."
"Thank you, Minister."
