Kris Cooper held Vera Wave’s chin and said, "But you already shouted! What if everyone knows I’m married by tomorrow morning?"
Vera furrowed her brows. "Mr. President, isn’t that a bit too exaggerated?"
Kris Cooper gently rubbed her lips with his fingers, feeling the softness of her lips, like that of a baby. His eyes fell on the marks he left on her neck, which stirred his desires again.
If they weren’t in the car right now, he would have taken her there and then.
"Rumor travels faster than plague. You should know, countless journalists are waiting to dig up my gossip," he said.
"But..." Vera didn’t know what to do. "What should I do?"
"Since you shouted like that, you have to take responsibility for your actions," he replied.
Take responsibility?
How to take responsibility?!
Vera raised an eyebrow. "You... you can’t possibly expect to actually marry you, can you?"
Did she sound like marrying him would be a huge grievance? The man narrowed his eyes slightly and moved his face even closer to hers.
"So, would you feel aggrieved marrying ?" he queried.
"Of course aggri..." Realizing the slight anger on his face, Vera quickly corrected herself. "Of course not. It would be a fortune I’ve accumulated over three... no, thirty lifetis if I could marry Mr. President, hehe!"
Quick on her feet, she corrected herself.
"That’s right, you know better!" Kris Cooper took a deep breath. Damn it, he wanted her again. He sat upright, pulling her up with him.
He was of high importance, and she might need him in the future. She definitely couldn’t piss him off!
Seeing that he didn’t probe any further, Vera let out a sigh of relief and hugged his arm affectionately.
"Brother... Brother Kris, what do you feel like eating tonight?" she asked sweetly, leaning on him defenselessly.
Through the thin layer of clothing, he could clearly feel her soft chest pressing against his arm. Kris Cooper felt a rush of heat in his lower abdon, making him restless.
Was that damned girl doing this on purpose?!
"at!" he exclaid.
"Speaking of at, I am an expert in that. For lamb, we can have Hot Pot. And I know a place where they have delicious Roasted Pigeon..." Vera, thinking about the long-lost delicacies, couldn’t help but swallow. She stuck out her little tongue to moisten her lips. "I promise you will crave more..."
Kris Cooper happened to catch sight of her licking her plump and tender lips and lost all patience.
He pulled her into his arms, lowered his head and kissed her.
"MMPH..."
Before Vera could react, her lips were occupied. Subconsciously, she squird a bit and felt sothing beneath her growing harder.
Her heart shuddered, and she imdiately froze like a statue, not daring to move.
「In the front seat.」
The driver kept his eyes on the road, while Tommy Taylor turned to look at the gradually brightening streetlights outside the car window.
After kissing her thoroughly, Kris Cooper lifted his face, his breath ragged. Vera, her face burning red as charcoal, buried her face in his chest, pretending to be dead.
I don’t exist! I don’t exist! Driver, Assistant Tommy, there’s no woman in this car!
"AHEM!" Tommy Taylor cleared his throat. "Where shall we take you?"
Kris Cooper glanced down at the little girl pretending to be dead in his arms, gently rubbing her hair with his nose, and then said the na of a restaurant.
