Enough was enough. There was no need to endure any longer!
Vera Wave grabbed Ria Chapman’s hair, turned abruptly, and forcefully pushed her into the fish pond. Now that things had co to this, Vera no longer cared about the consequences.
She could tolerate Ria’s disdain and temporarily ignore Ria’s brutal treatnt of her...
Even a dragon has an untouchable scale; everyone has their limit. When it ca to her father, Vera absolutely could not endure it!
Her mother had passed away early from illness, and her father had raised her single-handedly, playing both parental roles. Her father was an extrely important figure in Vera’s heart. She absolutely wouldn’t allow Ria to denigrate the man she respected most, especially not after his death.
Looking down at Ria, who had fallen into the fish pond, Vera trembled all over.
"I’m telling you, don’t you dare insult my father!"

Ria was in a truly wretched state. When she crawled out of the fish pond, she was not only soaked to the bone, but also had a strand of aquatic plant clinging to her hair.
She wiped her face and imdiately burst out, crying and shouting.
"Vera, you... you dare hit ! I... I’ll curse..." Soaking wet, she crawled out of the fish pond and staggered to stand before Vera. "Your... your father..."
At this mont, Vera was thoroughly riled up and not afraid of her in the slightest. She just watched Ria coldly, her dark eyes burning with fury.
eting the thin girl’s gaze, Ria saw a chilling emotion in it. She had no doubt that if she dared to utter another word against Vera’s father, this girl would fight her to the death.
"You... you just wait!" Tugging the plant from her hair, she rushed out of the office, crying, "Help! Soone’s attacking !"
Her shriek shocked the entire 31st floor.
Everyone rushed over from their workstations. Seeing Ria, drenched, her hair plastered to her face like water weeds, a few people couldn’t hold back and almost snorted with laughter.
"You... how dare you laugh?!" Ria roared. "Call security imdiately... no, call the police right now! This damn girl dared to hit ! I... I’ll have her put in jail!"
"Miss Chapman!" Emily Miller, the person in charge of the CEO Office, also ran over. Seeing the situation, she quickly stepped forward to support Ria by the shoulder. "What happened to make you like this?"
"It’s all that damn girl Vera!" Ria cursed. "She dared to hit ... This ti, I’m not finished with her! What are you all standing around for? Call the police!"

On one hand was the daughter of a major shareholder. On the other was the CEO’s new favorite. Because of Vera’s rocket-like promotion, everyone on the 31st floor naturally knew she had an extraordinary relationship with the CEO. Emily could afford to offend neither of them.
Vera was new, so Emily didn’t know much about her. However, she had t Ria several tis.
This one was clearly a spoiled child, incredibly arrogant. Not to ntion Emily, she looked down on everyone in the company, except for a few major shareholders.
Vera, honestly... how did she manage to offend this one?!
"Are you all deaf?!"
Seeing Emily not imdiately obeying her command, Ria yelled again.
"Miss Chapman, look at you, you’re completely soaked. Let help you find so dry clothes to change into first. Otherwise, it really wouldn’t be worth it if you catch a cold. And besides..." Emily lowered her voice, "appearing like this really isn’t good for your image, is it?"
