She stopped by the restaurant near the hospital to buy a serving of dumplings that Grandma Wave loves. Vera carefully wrapped the dumplings in her coat and made her way to the ward.
"Grandma, look what delicious thing I brought you!"
She walked into the ward with a smile. As she lifted her face, she saw a tall figure sitting beside the old lady’s bed, attentively feeding her porridge.
"Nathan Leafcastle?" Vera hurried over, putting down her bag and the dumplings, "Let do it, it’s too much trouble for you."
"It’s okay, it’s almost finished." Nathan Leafcastle turned to smile at her, then gently brought the spoon to Grandma Wave’s lips, "Grandma, here... open your mouth!"
Grandma Wave cooperated obediently and swallowed the porridge as she sighed.
