Beside the bed, Andre Colin was flipping through the examination results handed to him by the nurse.
"How is it?"
Seeing him raise his face from the examination results, Kris Cooper asked softly.
"All indicators are normal, but the EEG is very chaotic."
"What does that an?"
Andre Colin looked at the nurse standing to the side, "Let’s talk outside!"
Turning his face, he looked at Vera Wave on the pillow. Kris Cooper gently placed her hand on the bed, then bent down to whisper to her.
"Vera, I’ll be right back."
Taking a deep breath, he straightened up and followed Andre Colin out the door.
Leading him to a quiet corner of the hallway, Andre Colin finally stopped, "What happened?"
Kris Cooper briefly explained the situation to him, "I just wanted to try the piano first. I didn’t know why she was there. When I found her, she had already fainted."
"It seems she had a reaction to your stimulus. From this, it looks like we’re on the right track..."
Before Andre Colin finished speaking, a nurse ran over urgently.
"Director, Miss Yi seems to be acting a bit strange..."
Before the nurse could finish, Kris Cooper had already turned and rushed toward Vera’s ward.
Andre Colin hurriedly followed him into the ward.
On the bed, Vera Wave’s face was covered in cold sweat, filled with pain and fear.
"No... no... ah... don’t... please... don’t co over..."
"Vera!" Kris Cooper rushed to the bedside and held Vera’s shoulders, "Vera, wake up!"
Vera only kept her eyes closed, curling her body, and scread out.
"No!"
"Vera!"
"Kris!"
Andre Colin held Kris Cooper’s shoulder, signaling him not to move recklessly. He reached out his hand to hold Vera’s head, gently opened her eyelids to take a look, then frowned and stood up straight.
Seeing the little girl look so pained, Kris Cooper supported her half in his arms.
"Vera, wake up..."
"She isn’t dreaming, you can’t wake her like this." Andre Colin watched Vera struggling and writhing in his embrace, "This is subconscious behavior."
Kris Cooper frowned tightly, looking to him for help, "Then what should I do?"
Andre Colin shook his head, "She has to get through this herself, you can’t help her!"
"So much for your psychology studies!" Kris Cooper glared at him, then turned his face to Vera, pulling her into his arms and soothingly stroking her hair, "Vera, don’t be afraid, Brother Kris is here..."
Perhaps his comforting worked, as Vera’s emotions gradually began to calm. Although her body was still trembling, her condition was much better than before.
The nurse noticed the blood on Kris Cooper’s hand and coughed lightly, "Mr. Cooper, your hand..."
But before she could finish speaking, Kris Cooper had already glared at her irritably, making her heart skip a beat. Andre Colin gently raised his hand, prompting her to hurriedly exit the room.
After a while, Vera finally quieted down again.
Andre Colin frowned as he walked to Kris Cooper’s side, gently patting his shoulder.
"Put her down and co out with for a bit."
Carefully placing Vera back on the pillow and seeing her quietly sleeping without moving, Kris Cooper finally felt at ease to straighten up and follow Andre Colin out of her ward.
"It seems that things fit my assumption." Andre Colin shrugged slightly, "Her amnesia might be because of so intense trauma. Her behavior just now has already proved this. In the depths of her subconscious, besides the beautiful mories of the past, there’s also a dark mory."
