Kris Cooper gently cradled Vera Wave’s cheek with his palm and bent down to kiss her lips.
Her lips tasted faintly of beer, with a light malt scent that wasn’t unpleasant. Her soft, tender lips tempted him.
He tried to part her lips, but she didn’t cooperate.
Gazing at her flushed cheeks, hinting at her intoxication, Kris Cooper lifted his fingers to gently pinch her small nose.
"Mmm... don’t move..."
Startled by his touch, Vera sleepily raised a hand to push his away. Rubbing her lips, now moist from his kisses, she rolled over to sleep on her side.
The blanket that had been covering her was pushed aside by her movents, revealing half of her body.
Her loose casual clothes had ridden up to her knees, and the skewed neckline exposed her curved collarbone and a glimpse of her smooth shoulder.
That wasn’t all; the hem of her top had also ridden up, baring a section of her slender, fair waist.
The elegant line of her spine was clearly visible, along with two adorable dimples on her lower back.
The slender young girl from years past had transford over the years, now possessing beautiful curves.
He had remained chaste for her for so many years. After their reunion, his masculine instincts had been completely awakened by her.
He hadn’t seen her for the past two days and had missed her intensely.
Now, seeing her in such an enticing state, how could he possibly restrain himself?
He lifted his fingers, brushed the stray hairs from her face, bent down again, and kissed her ear.
Her earlobe was fair and tender, round and smooth as a pearl, making him irresistibly want to tease it.
As he kissed her earlobe, his fingers gently slid over her shoulder, tugged down the white strap of her bra, traced along her exposed forearm, and then lingered on her waist.
Beneath his palm lay her delicate skin, and he unconsciously increased the pressure of his touch.
"HEE HEE..."
Tickled by his touch, Vera couldn’t help but giggle, shrinking away and rolling onto her back again.
As her earlobe slipped from his mouth, her own lips brushed against the side of his.
Taking a deep breath, Kris Cooper found himself unable to control his surging desire. He turned his head and kissed her lips again, his palm sliding up from her waist and under the bunched-up fabric of her top.
Her breath hitched as he stole the air from her lungs. Vera instinctively turned her head to the side, avoiding his kiss, and curled up, dazed.
"Don’t... touch ..."
Seeing her like this, Kris Cooper took a deep breath. She was clearly in no condition for this; he couldn’t bring himself to disturb her further. He would just let her sleep. He withdrew his hand from under her clothes.
He reached over to dim the lights and slipped under the covers beside her. Gently pulling her into his embrace, he was about to fall asleep when the girl in his arms suddenly stirred and sat up.
"What’s wrong?"
Is she going to be sick again? Kris Cooper quickly sat up and turned on the light.
Squinting, Vera pouted unhappily and licked her lips with the tip of her tongue.
"Water..."
"Do you want so water?"
He quickly got up, fetched a cup of water, and held it to her lips.
Eyes closed, she took a couple of sips, then yawned in his arms and squird a little.
"Uncomfortable..."
"Uncomfortable?" he asked, his brow furrowing with worry as he quickly helped her sit up. "Is your stomach bothering you?"
