Upon his reminder, Vera Wave rembered that two days ago Nathan Leafcastle had called, saying he needed to see her, but she was busy at the ti and offhandedly ntioned she was only free on the weekend afternoon.
"I’m really sorry, I’ve been so busy these past few days, so..." Vera hesitated to say the word "forgot," "I montarily overlooked it."
"No problem, I know you’ve been busy lately." Nathan Leafcastle smiled warmly, "I invited a psychology expert from the United States to co over and help check on you. It seems you’re not busy now, right?"
Guilt arose in Vera’s heart. What she initially said offhandedly, the other party took seriously and went directly to Ashton Company to find her.
"Then... shall we go now?"
"Sure."
Nathan Leafcastle turned around, guiding her down the steps, where the driver had already opened the car door for the two of them.
He raised his hand to protect the car door, politely inviting Vera to get in, and gentlemanly closed the door before moving to sit on the other side.
As the driver started the car, Vera turned her face, looking at Nathan Leafcastle apologetically.
"Brother Nathan, I..."
"No problem!" Nathan Leafcastle extended his hand, gently patting her hand resting on the seat, "You never need to be polite with Brother Nathan!"
His hand lightly patted hers and then politely withdrew.
"This doctor is an authority in this field and has even been nominated for the Nobel Prize in dicine; I’m sure he can help you."
Vera slightly frowned. Kris Cooper had already introduced her to Andre Colin, but she hadn’t gone for treatnt due to her busy schedule. Now, if she went to the doctor Nathan Leafcastle invited, it seed a bit inappropriate.
With such good intentions from the other side, she couldn’t directly refuse.
"Well... I’m not prepared yet."
"It’s okay." Nathan Leafcastle’s tone was gentle, "We’ll go to my ho first, and he can examine you thoroughly. You both can discuss the treatnt specifics. If, after talking, you feel you don’t want his treatnt, it’s fine. I can find another doctor to help you."
With the conversation at this point, Vera couldn’t refuse, so she nodded in agreent.
The car quickly arrived at Nathan Leafcastle’s villa. After getting out of the car, Nathan Leafcastle led her to an upstairs guest room where Dr. Winson Sumrton and his female assistant were already waiting.
After brief pleasantries, Dr. Winson Sumrton asked Vera to sit down and, after reviewing her dical records, brought up the cause of the amnesia again.
"It was a car accident."
Vera responded simply and directly.
"If that’s the case, then I need to conduct a series of tests on Miss Vera, such as a brain CT, EEG... and so on," Dr. Winson Sumrton said.
"There’s no need." Vera imdiately spoke, "I’ve already had all the tests before, and the doctors said I had no brain damage."
Dr. Winson Sumrton frowned slightly, "If that’s the case, then you’re quite a special case. Typically, amnesia is caused by two main reasons: one is physical damage, such as trauma, brain diseases causing brain cell damage, and the other is psychological damage due to strong stimuli or other factors affecting the psyche. If Miss Vera’s amnesia was due to a car accident, it should be the forr, and if it was the forr, there shouldn’t be no brain damage at all!"
"Then..." Nathan Leafcastle coughed lightly, "Could you try your Hypnosis Therapy?"
