The man’s skin was smooth, and there was a light fragrance about him.
"Honey, you sll so good. Did you put on perfu?"
"No."
"But you sll really good!" She leaned in, her small nose rubbing against his neck as she sniffed like a kitten. After a while, she finally drew a conclusion. "I knew it! It’s the sll of shower gel. Did you take a shower at the office?"
They had been working non-stop, day and night, until earlier this afternoon when the public beta was finally on track. Kris Cooper always liked to be clean. He had purposely taken a shower and changed clothes at the office, so his body naturally still carried the fresh scent of the shower gel.
As she stared at his smooth skin, her heart fluttered. She leaned over and delicately licked his neck.
"Mmm, there’s no salty taste. I knew I guessed right!"
To her, it was an act of affection; for him, it was nothing short of provocation. Being sniffed and rubbed by her had already stirred him up. Her little lick was like throwing a lit cigarette into a pool of gasoline, igniting his fla instantly.
Holding her restless little head, Kris Cooper said in a low, hoarse voice, "Stop moving!"
As they embraced, she naturally felt the man’s physical changes, her face flushing bright red instantly.
"I... I’m sorry..."
Before she could finish her sentence, she caught sight of a car approaching from the corner of her eye. Spotting Tommy Taylor stepping out of the car, Vera Wave’s heart tightened. She quickly let go of Kris Cooper and hurriedly backed away.
After a mont, she handed her bag to him.
"Here!"
Her intention was for Kris Cooper to use her bag to shield the front of his pants from Tommy Taylor’s view.
Kris Cooper accepted her bag and turned his head. Upon seeing Tommy Taylor exiting the car, Kris Cooper’s eyes narrowed in displeasure as he glared at him.
Tommy Taylor looked at Vera’s blushing face and then at the glaring CEO, realizing his timing was bad. But there was nothing he could do about it; he reluctantly approached.
"Mr. CEO."
Seeing Kris Cooper hadn’t understood her intentions, Vera anxiously walked up and placed the bag in front of his waist, her hand patting his pants as if brushing off dirt.
"Look at you, all dirty."
Initially, Tommy Taylor had not noticed Kris Cooper’s pants. But at Vera’s "reminder," his gaze naturally drifted downwards to them.
"Ahem!" Kris Cooper coughed, then grabbed Vera’s fumbling hand. "The car is in the residential complex. You go handle it. I’m taking this one."
Being a man himself, Tommy Taylor imdiately realized sothing was amiss. He quickly nodded in agreent and walked towards the residential complex.
Watching him walk away, Kris Cooper reached over and removed the bag Vera had placed in front of his waist. Her handling of the bag, as it swayed and brushed against him, had only fueled the fire. Was this mischief girl doing it on purpose?
"Damn it, girl, are you trying to kill ?" he growled dryly.
"Oh... I..." Vera glanced at his increasingly protruding bulge, her face growing even hotter. "I was just trying to help..."
"Get in the car!"
Pulling her to the car, he opened the door and sat in the driver’s seat. Vera, not daring to delay, quickly followed and sat in the passenger seat.
Seeing her close the door and fasten her seatbelt, Kris Cooper imdiately started the car.
