It wasn’t about going back to the city, but continuing forward.
Sitting in the passenger seat, Vera Wave discretely glanced at his pants. Since he was in the driver’s seat, she couldn’t get a clear look.
"Honey, are... are you alright?" she asked cautiously.
Kris Cooper ignored her. He glanced at the road ahead, then steered the car off the expressway and onto a quiet mountain road.
Finally, he stopped on a driveway that was clearly abandoned and overgrown with grass.
Vera looked at the road ahead, puzzled, then couldn’t help but chuckle.
"Honey, you didn’t take a wrong turn, did you? How are we supposed to drive on this?"
Kris Cooper reached out, turned off the ignition, unbuckled his seatbelt, and got out. He walked around the car to her side and opened her door.
Vera turned her face, puzzled.
"Is the car broken?"
"No."
"Then why..."
Before Vera could finish, his hot palm reached over, brushing her stray hair from her face. His handso face drew closer to hers. She stiffened involuntarily as his burning hand brushed past her earlobe.
"Honey?!"
"I can’t wait until we get ho!"
With a low murmur, his lips descended, covering hers.

The seatbelt buckle opened and retracted. Then, her seat slowly reclined backward as his body pressed down on hers, his scorching breath instantly enveloping her.
Vera wanted to remind him to lock the car doors, but his hand had already slipped under her skirt, followed by the sound of thin fabric tearing—her stockings.
At first, Vera was anxiously worried about being discovered. Soon, however, she could no longer think about that, completely lost in his passion.
Kissing her shoulder, Kris Cooper helped pull her shirt straight. Only when he tried to button it did he realize he had been too hasty earlier; the buttonholes were misshapen.
"I... I’ll do it myself!"
Blushing, Vera Wave lifted her hands and hastily pulled her clothes together, then tugged down the hem of her dress.
Kris Cooper pulled off his suit jacket and draped it over her. He then reached out, picked up the ring that had slipped off her finger, and tucked it inside her collar.
"Vera, co back with to et my parents, okay?"
"Well..." Her face flushed, and she hesitated. "Can we... maybe wait a few days before eting your parents?"
She was just an ordinary employee right now. What if his parents looked down on her? Or what if they misunderstood her as a girl trying to marry into a wealthy family by using her body?
Even though she was just an ordinary girl, she still had her own pride.
She reached out, took his hand, and pleaded softly, "Let achieve sothing first, when I feel I’m worthy of standing by your side. Then we can tell your parents, okay?"
Her large eyes were filled with entreaty.
He knew her pride.
He desperately wanted to announce to the entire world, right then and there, that she was his woman. But Kris Cooper still nodded indulgently.
"Alright."
"Don’t worry, honey, I’ll definitely work hard and improve myself as quickly as possible..." She imdiately bead, wrapping one arm around his neck and raising the other in the air as if making a solemn vow. "I will make your parents accept ! I will make you proud of ! I will beco the woman who is most worthy of Kris Cooper in the entire world! Vera will triumph!"
She made her vow with enthusiasm, oblivious to the fact that her shirt had co open again, revealing a delicate pink charm.
