As Vera waved her hand, the little bunny wobbled along too.
Seeing this scene, Kris Cooper couldn’t help but lift the corners of his lips slightly.
"Why are you laughing? You don’t believe ?"
Noticing his gaze was in the wrong direction, she shifted her eyes downwards, looked once, and suddenly felt embarrassed, quickly pulling her clothes tight to hide the exposed bunny.
Capturing her embarrassed yet adorable expression in his eyes, Kris Cooper smiled and kissed her forehead.
"Okay, I’ll wait for you."
Helping her adjust her coat and straighten her skirt, Kris Cooper finally stood up to help her sit properly, adjusting her seat and fastening the seatbelt.
He casually buttoned two buttons of his shirt, returned to the driver’s seat, and restarted the car.

Dragon Mansion Sunset View.
At the bar, Nathan Leafcastle lifted his eyes to glance at the photo in the fra, bringing the wine glass to his mouth, tipped his head back, and drained it in one gulp.
On the table, there was already an empty bottle placed, and another bottle of wine, was also mostly finished by him.
At this mont, he was already fairly intoxicated, so when the knocking began, he didn’t hear it.
The person knocking outside the door knocked a few tis without response, lost patience, and imdiately knocked harder.
"I’m coming!"
Nathan Leafcastle responded sowhat impatiently, grabbing the wine glass and standing up, staggering to the door, pulling it open.
Outside the door stood a woman.
She wore a smart dark suit, had non-prescription glasses on the bridge of her nose, a neat updo, and her expression revealed intelligence and professionalism.
"Mom?" Nathan Leafcastle squinted his eyes, "Why are you here?"
This woman was none other than Nathan Leafcastle’s mother, Liliana Davis.
Behind her followed an assistant pulling her luggage.
"Of course, I’m here to see you!"
Liliana Davis glanced at her son’s face, detected the strong scent of alcohol on him, furrowed her brows slightly, and refrained from imdiately questioning him, she turned to look at the assistant behind her.
"Linda, you go back to the hotel first. I’ll stay here tonight."
The blonde assistant nodded, placed the suitcase in the living room, and left.
After the assistant left, Liliana Davis walked to the bar, beside Nathan Leafcastle, who was once again filling up his glass, and reached out to snatch the wine glass from his hand.
"Nathan, what’s the matter?"
"Don’t interfere with !"
Nathan Leafcastle stretched his hand, trying to grab back the glass, but Liliana Davis pulled back her arm, and he grabbed empty air, so he imdiately took hold of the wine bottle and brought it to his mouth.
"Nathan!" Liliana Davis’s voice took on a stern tone, reached out and grabbed the wine bottle, placing it heavily on the table, "I’ve told you many tis, always keep yourself clear-headed, only then can you remain undefeated. You know alcohol harms your body, what could be worth degrading yourself like this?"
"Clear-headed? What’s the use of being clear-headed?" Nathan Leafcastle snatched back the wine bottle, "Can being clear-headed keep Vera from leaving?"
He took a swig from the wine bottle and swayed his way up the stairs.
As he climbed the stairs, he missed a step and almost fell; Liliana Davis hurried over to support his arm, but he shook her off.
"Go away... don’t interfere with ... if it weren’t for you back then... if I had gone to Arica back then, things wouldn’t be like this..." Getting up from the ground, turning to look at his mother behind him, Nathan Leafcastle’s eyes turned red, "She fell in love with soone else, Vera fell in love with soone else! Do you know what she said when she called... from now on, she’ll never see again, never again!"
