Mrs. Fung ca in, "Grandma is already asleep. Have you two eaten? Would you like sothing to drink?"
"No need, you should go to bed too." Vera waved Mrs. Fung away and walked into the bathroom. Seeing Kris Cooper washing his hands, she coughed lightly, "If you’re tired, you might as well just... just stay. Grandma is already asleep."
Looking at her flushed cheeks from the side, Kris Cooper smiled, about to agree, when his phone vibrated in his pocket.
Taking out the phone and seeing it was a call from Singapore, he pinched her cheek gently.
"Go fetch your husband so pajamas."
She imdiately turned around, giggling, and ran to the closet to get his clothes.

"Hello?"
"All the docunts have been sent to your email."
"Okay, I’ll call you tomorrow."
He hung up and walked outside, taking off his shirt. Vera ca out holding his pajamas, and upon seeing him take off his pants, quickly turned her face away.
He didn’t mind, casually throwing his clothes aside as he approached her and picked her up horizontally.

As he carried her to the bed, she nervously clung to his arm.
"Hon... Honey, I... I have to work tomorrow!"
He ignored her, just pulling off her clothes and tucking her into bed, then turned to lie down beside her, pulling her into his arms.

"You little sleepyhead, still not dressed! Kris has been waiting for you for ages! He ca early to take you to work, and you’re still lazing around, hurry up!"
"Coming!"
She responded loudly and made a face at Kris Cooper.
Vera quickly got ready, the three of them had breakfast together, and Vera said goodbye to Grandma, getting in the car with Kris Cooper to head to work.
This ti, he openly drove the car to the Ashton Building, and the two took the elevator up together. He didn’t forget to remind her.
"I have to go to Glimr at noon. Make sure you eat well."
