Kris Cooper pinched her little nose, a chuckle in his voice. "Good girl!"
Vera Wave shrugged slightly. She knew he wouldn’t agree. Besides, she wasn’t very interested herself. The one million she’d earned from this movie was enough for her and her grandma’s living expenses. It would be better to focus on her main job in the future. The entertainnt industry was a mixed bag and really wasn’t the right place for her. What if she encountered soone like Irene Spencer again? That would be a real headache.

She sat up straight and looked seriously at Kris Cooper. "Darling?"
