Seeing no one paying attention, Irene Spencer walked over to Anabel Wilton’s side.
"Lucy Clark, can I use your phone for a mont?"
Without thinking too much, Anabel handed over her phone imdiately.
Everyone was focused on the work of the Explosives Technician. Irene walked to the side of the table and placed the phone she was holding on it. She bent down, pretending to adjust her boot laces, and cast a glance at the computer screen.
Seeing that no one was paying attention to her, she quickly moved the mouse and swiftly edited the bomb tir.
The originally programd fifteen-second blast delay was changed by her to five seconds.
After completing her sabotage, she wiped the mouse with a cloth and quickly walked away.
A mont later, the Explosives Technician finished setting up the explosives. The director explained the scene to everyone again, and then filming officially began.
Vera Wave, Irene Spencer, Logan Miles, and others all proceeded to their designated places. The director then shouted to everyone again through the gaphone, "Everyone get ready, Action!"
Kris Cooper stood next to the director, anxiously watching Vera.
This was a lengthy take, starting with dialogue scenes and followed by a large-scale battlefield sequence.
The initial dialogue scenes primarily featured Vera Wave and Logan Miles.
From a distance, the director observed the two actors. When the ti was right, he imdiately shouted "Start!" into his headset.
Upon his command, the Explosives Technician pressed Enter on the computer, and all the actors began moving according to their previously rehearsed positions.
"Charge! Kill!"
Vera Wave imdiately started running forward.
BANG!
The first explosion went off prematurely.
Instantly, dust flew and smoke filled the air.
Everything seed normal. However, five seconds later, the second explosive charge, which was supposed to detonate after fifteen seconds, went off.
Vera Wave had not yet run out of the danger zone when a deafening blast resounded.
Her ears throbbed from the trendous noise. All she could perceive was a cloud of dust and smoke before a powerful force slamd into her back, sending her flying.
"Vera!"
Watching her get sent flying, Kris Cooper’s voice turned sharp with alarm.
Without a second thought, he recklessly rushed towards Vera Wave.
"President!"
"Mr. Cooper!"

When Tommy Taylor saw Vera fall, he too was startled. By the ti he reacted, Kris Cooper was already rushing toward the set.
Instantly, the set descended into chaos.
The director grabbed the walkie-talkie.
"Stop! Stop! Everyone get down!"
"Stop it now!"
Tommy Taylor turned and roared at the Explosives Technician.
"Kris!"
Irene Spencer, who had been fleeing towards safety, saw Kris Cooper rushing in the opposite direction. She shrieked, lunged forward, and tackled him to the ground.
BANG!
The third explosion roared.
"Get off !"
Shoving Irene Spencer off him, Kris Cooper charged like a madman into the swirling smoke and dust ahead.
"Everyone, get down!" the director shrieked.
By this ti, the Explosives Technician had also reacted, quickly pressing Enter to stop the remaining explosions.
Tommy Taylor dashed down the earthen slope. Witnessing the chaotic scene, his face pale, he plunged into the dust and smoke.
"President! President Cooper!"
"Kris!"
Irene Spencer, scrambling up from the ground, also scread and rushed forward.
Amidst the dust and smoke, the other actors and extras lay motionless on the ground, their faces ashen with terror.
Kris Cooper stumbled onward, tripped on a rock, and fell heavily. His arm was scraped, but he paid it no mind, scrambling up and continuing his desperate rush forward, repeatedly shouting Vera’s na.
"Vera! Vera! Vera... Answer !"
