Andre Colin lifted his face from the note in his hand, folded it, and stepped forward, patting his shoulder.
"Go change your clothes first! Then calmly think, where could she have gone?"
Kris Cooper, having rushed out, was still wearing his pajamas.
Taking a deep breath, Kris Cooper sighed and turned to walk back to the bedroom.
Andre Colin walked over to Mrs. Feng and Mrs. Li, who had followed, to inquire about the specific circumstances of Vera Wave’s departure.
While he was still asking, Kris Cooper burst out of the room again.
His shirt was not fully buttoned, half-tucked into his pants, clearly having recalled sothing just now.
"What taxi?"
He rushed up to them, directly asking.
His question dumbfounded both Mrs. Li and Mrs. Feng.
"Are you deaf?!" Kris Cooper shouted in anger, "I asked what taxi!"
"It... it seed like a Passat!" Mrs. Feng replied.
Kris Cooper was almost driven mad by her.
Andre Colin held back the fuming Kris Cooper, "He ans, which taxi company?"
Mrs. Li ntioned before that Vera Wave left by taxi, so as long as they could find out which company’s taxi she took, they could try to trace her destination through the taxi company.
Mrs. Feng was at a loss for words, "This..."
"I know." Mrs. Li spoke up, "It’s two characters, I think sothing with ’Jian’?"
"Luca Goldie?"
Kris Cooper asked.
Frightened by him, Mrs. Li dared not affirm, but cautiously spoke.
"I think so, I just glanced quickly and rember two characters."
"What about the license plate number?"
"This..." Mrs. Li looked troubled, "I didn’t notice!"
"Leave the taxi investigation to ." Andre Colin then turned to Kris Cooper, "Go check with her friends and relatives!"
"Okay." Without exchanging any more polite nonsense, Kris Cooper turned and dashed toward the door, "Call if there’s any news."
As Andre Colin jogged out the door, Kris Cooper’s car was already roaring out of the alley.
Watching the disappearing taillights, even soone as composed as Andre Colin couldn’t help but frown.
In such a large city, finding soone intentionally avoiding you is harder than finding a needle in a haystack.
Noticing the two approaching servants, he turned and handed them a business card.
"This is my card, with my phone number. Call anyti if you think of any clues. I’ll go check on the taxis first."
"Okay."
Mrs. Li took the card, and Andre Colin turned, jogged out the courtyard gate, got in his car, and drove out of the alley in front of the old house, simultaneously dialing Kenton Maverick’s number, "Kenton, have you seen Vera in the last few days?"
"I’m in Germany, haven’t seen her, what’s going on?"
"Vera is missing again. Since you’re abroad, I’ll try to figure sothing out."
...
...
The SUV wheels rolled over the road surface, and in the driver’s seat, Kris Cooper monitored the roadside situation as he drove.
Hearing the phone connect, he imdiately spoke.
"Get the Administration Departnt, I need to find Isla Hawskin!"
A mont later, the call was connected, and Isla Hawskin’s voice ca through.
"Glimr Administration Departnt."
"Isla!" Kris Cooper urgently interrupted her, "Listen carefully, if you dare lie to , you’ll regret it for the rest of your life. Do you know where Vera is?"
