She placed the dicine powder into one of the bowls, filled it with soup, and gently stirred it with chopsticks. Only then did she bring out the soup, placing it by one of the seats on the side, and then served two more bowls opposite it.
Linda had already set the table, and Liliana Davis took off the apron she was wearing.
"Go get the glasses and open the wine Sally brought."
While Linda went to get glasses and open the wine, Nathan Leafcastle had already co downstairs with Sally Dalton. Liliana Davis smiled and ushered them to the table.
"Wow, it slls amazing!" Sally Dalton bent down and sniffed the dishes on the table, "Auntie’s cooking skills seem to have improved again!"
"Oh, not really. I haven’t cooked in a long ti, I’m a bit rusty. Try it out, don’t mind if it’s not good."
Seeing Linda return, Sally Dalton imdiately got up, took the wine glasses, and poured wine for all four of them.
Liliana Davis raised her glass.
"Here’s to Nathan taking over as head of Barker Ebba."
Everyone raised their glasses, drank, and then picked up their chopsticks to eat. Sally Dalton brought up the topic of returning to the country.
Liliana Davis frowned, "Didn’t we agree you’d stay a few more days? Why are you going back?"
"That’s not it." Sally Dalton smiled, "I talked to Dad earlier, and I want to start from the bottom. He supports my decision, so I’ll be assigned to the branch office in the Imperial City to assist Nathan. Since people here don’t know , it will be easier to start from the bottom."
"That’s great!" Nathan Leafcastle imdiately agreed, "I also support your decision. This way, you can get to know each departnt and the whole company system."
Sally Dalton’s father is the largest shareholder of Barker Group and is currently the ultimate majority shareholder, the Chairman.
He has only one daughter, Sally Dalton, and soday this family business will inevitably pass on to her.
As the family successor, Sally Dalton understands her mission, so she wants to start from the grassroots and learn about the entire enterprise.

"That’s fantastic then!" Liliana Davis personally took the wine bottle, refilled the glasses for all four, and raised her glass, "We must have another drink, wishing Sally a smooth start at her new job!"
So, everyone raised their glasses and drank another glass.
Liliana Davis put down her glass, smiling as she looked at the young couple opposite her.
"Today, I have another piece of good news to announce."
"What good news?"
Both of them looked over curiously, and Liliana Davis smiled and began to speak.
"I received a call this morning, and I have been formally nominated for Minister. Soon, I can remove the ’Deputy’ title!"
"Wow, that’s aweso!" Sally Dalton exclaid in surprise, "Auntie, you’re truly amazing."
Won navigating the political scene tend to face more limitations, and Liliana Davis climbing to this position in just a few years is indeed remarkable.
"Let pour the wine!" Sally Dalton picked up the bottle.
Nathan Leafcastle reached out and took the bottle from her hands, "Let do it!"
And so, they poured a third glass and toasted Liliana Davis together.
Liliana Davis raised her glass, downed it in one go, and the other three followed suit, finishing their drinks.
